For all who were asking why they took him off the stage. I think I understand. The secret service did not have a good vantage point in that place. I believe they were being extra careful. Also the police had a tough time getting to whoever was causing the ruckus.
History lesson fun fact about the JFK assassination. The secret service arrived prior to his arrival and was supposed to do a security check of the motorcade route. But when they discovered that there were thousands of windows and they didn't have the manpower to search them all they decided instead to simply not search any of them.
