They forgot that trump told the oil companies that if they gave him a billion dollars he would let them do whatever they wanted and any paper they put in front of him… he would sign.
I am in Indiana, but, I listened to your report on U Tube. It is a concern for all of Americans. We need desperately to have clean water, and to protect our native habitat. To totally show disregard for any of the earth science is dangerous. And to undo the EPA is just craziness. I think moving forward with clean energy alternatives is going to be the best choice for everyone especially for future generations. The oil has caused enough damage and it is better to try to learn how to do without it.
@@kryptoniteKJ What about Eisenhower? I'm not familiar with his environmental polices, but I know in a lot of ways he had more in common with modern progressives than the Republican Party.
Well, Nixon did sign the first EPA reform in 1970. It was a big deal, but move forward to today, I don't hear any Republican supporting anything. We have way too many people. We can't support the environment unless many choose not to procreate all over the world for 80 years or more.
Idiot who gives a shit about Colorado. Never mind the U.S. going under from the biden administration. We are in the worst place we have ever been and if dems get back in we are fucked on all fronts. Inflation, illegals, rainbow warriors going after kids and schools so yeah Colorado is at the top of my concern. Quit being a moron

Climate change with the massive melting of glaciers and the shift of water is changing the shape of the planet and its' rotation. Other things change this too and there are times that rotation changes but this is different. There is NO sacred land, plant animal, air and water that is safe from Donald Trump and his money grubbers. WAKE the eff up people.
No real facts on the silliness of people actually causing our weather changing. You tree hugging climate people need to stop listening to the AL gore's of the world.

I agree.. I’m in NC and happened on this. Very informative. I want to see if an NC station, and other states for that matter, is doing a similar report
@@saythankyou111 Simple much? Electricity comes from many sources. The idea is to get away from power grids using oil and coal, since they both contribute to climate change. Solar, Hydro, Thermal, and nuclear provide electricity as well, just so you know, since it seems you're being willfully ignorant of that.

Colorado is the home of my heart. I raised my son in Jefferson County Schools k-12 and he received a great education. I lived all up and down the front range and knew it well. Many wonderful adventures in the mountains. Please take care of my Colorado because I will always love it.
0:49 "...we will use it and profit by it." Funny I don't see any of us profiting from more drilling. In theory it could potentially lower gas prices in the short term (should oil companies suddenly not want to wring every penny from the land and profit by it), but that would be called saving money, not making money. Trump is clearly not talking about the American people.
Yes - when he talks about profit, he means for himself or his rich buddies - those who own or have interest in these companies - those who could care less about what it does to Colorado, as long as they can line their pockets! This has nothing to do with benefiting the people of CO or Americans in general.

As a Canadian thank you for being an anti Trump news source. There doesn't seem to be too many in the USA. Perhaps it is because they are afraid of losing their audience.

What the hell are you talking about? The vast majority of oil in the US is light, sweet crude. It’s the heavier stuff that is imported to blend with the light, sweet that the US produces. This is needed based on how the refineries are set up.
@@pauledwards1157 Doesn't change the fact that the Saudis own the Texas refinery and made 144 billion in profits in 2022 and all of that went over to Saudi and no to very little taxes paid on it. We can either invest in more green technology to move ahead faster or we will be like the horse and carriage versus the automobile. Have to be a big enough producer of those new technologies or we will be left behind and lose out on all the profits that will come from the transition to renewable energy sources.
@@mtnbound2764 absolutely wrong. It's an emerging technology an can only get better at being neutral. Fossil fuels and Nuclear are not sustainable. The big problem is fossil fuels executives just want to own it before we transition.
@@mtnbound2764 there were many people who said there were no profits in coal, or oil, or directly wiring electricity to every house, and they were all very profitable. If you want China and the EU to lead this century's biggest technologies they'll happily do it, but I'd rather America lead in innovation and profits from those innovations. If you'd like to stagnate or refuse to join in the change because it offends you that's on you, the world is changing with or without you. This is a horse versus automobile type change, you can keep riding your horse but my car carries more faster so try to keep up.
The US is already No. 1 in the world in oil production. There is no need to drill more. The more we move to renewables, the cheaper our utilities will be.
Colorado gets more sun on an average year than almost any state in the country. If there was ever a place to emphasize solar and wind power and to keep pristine it’s Colorado. Especially, when we see record setting fires and heatwaves, it’s never been more important to protect and conserve what our nation has. No to “drill baby drill…”
I had no idea they wanted to get rid of the EPA. I'm telling you those people would burn everything if they got something out of it. They are "me today" people. We need "everyone tomorrow" people.
Have to put a stop to public land being sold to billionaires and private companies that restrict the access to that land, that private citizens have enjoyed for generations.
Everybody, if you love, teachers schools, clean air, clean water voting please don’t vote for Trump! He will take it all and make it a theocracy, and you will pay out the nose
we are one of the largest oil producers on the planet- Biden made history as being the worlds best oil trader (look it up) and there are plenty of areas open for drilling that have been designated as such but are not being utilized because the oil companies want to control the market. Gasoline on the other hand has a no competition gouging problem.
Not only that, but Democrats tried to investigate price-gouging, particularly with oil, but republucans blocked them, then blamed them on TV. VOTE BLUE!!!
The good news is we're in a state of unstoppable and accelerating collapse and we'll eventually stop harming nature. The bad news is we're also causing a mass extinction of nature on our way down. Stay safe.
Finite resources vs. renewable. I mean, the words are pretty explanatory. Oil and gas are finite. Even if there was NO damage created by using fuel-sunshine and wind are cheaper, safe to collect, and will never go away as long as the sun doesn’t go supernova (in which case, getting energy doesn’t much matter, right?). The switch to renewable energy is inevitable, and people should just get on board.
Why? Trump has disavowed the document numerous times. It's from some crazy people. The document is an outline and will never be implemented by anyone at anytime.
I'm still waiting for Trump to elaborate on that wall he said he wanted to build here. That would be a big job creator, but who are we trying to keep out, Wyoming?
