90% of Canadian truckers are vaccinated , THEY are working , keeping Canadians wants and needs supplied , THEY are the ones who deserve to be supported and acknowledged . As for the few actual truckers who were at this blockade , they are not willing to lose their trucking license and actually be unable to work . Vaccine mandates have been around forever to do certain things , travel , go certain places , hold certain jobs etc . Jobs have requirements , you either meet the requirements or you apply elsewhere . The "freedom protest " by a few truckers was overtaken by numerous different groups , trumpists , qanaon nuts , tinfoil hat conspiracy idiots , far right wing idiots , racists , etc almost as soon as it started . Who is in control of this "movement" , who decides what the demands are , "we the people" , Susie wants 1 thing , Bob wants something else , Henry over there has other demands . The vast majority of people go home , go to there jobs all week then show back up on the weekend , wander around the "protest" claiming they are "in it for the long haul" and that "they are willing to fight to the end" , BS , if you think everyone is going to refuse to move and get arrested and thrown in jail then you're out of your mind , VERY FEW will stay and be arrested . smfh

protests in Australia too, remember when they were banned? Now that it's safe again, the PM's response is "it's a democracy, it's their right, we just ask them to please do it peacefully" & when 15,000 of them turned up at a showground to camp & since there wasn't the space, destroyed property, including a mental health charity's biggest fund raising event of the year, the government just ignored them & focused on donating $25,000 to the charity to prevent hate towards the protestors & division in society. Of course we get our rights back if we live in a functional democracy!
