I drive new Toyotas everyday for work..the Hybrid Tundras are nice.. They don't feel as though have as much Torque as the standard V8, even though #'s say they do.

Glad you took my advice. That last truck was the wrong color and the mechanical issues were unacceptable. If you get a different brand, I vote chevy or ram. Best wishes.

I'm thinking a Shelby f150 with 775 hp. Don't do a ram trx, you gear the f150 properly you would have a better chance of beating a trx. It might be a zr2 silverado,hopefully it doesn't come with that ticking time bomb 6.2L

Whipple superchargers are not "known for being noisy".. roots style superchargers are noisy compared to centrifugal blowers regardless of brand.. but it doesn't mean roots style superchargers are all noisy either.

The real reason he got rid of the F150 is because he had the battery problem with the raptor. If you notice, he sold it right after that happened. Kinda weird. He just does not want anything to happen to the F150 so he sold it.

Maybe instead of selling your f150 just buy another truck and have two trucks. One truck lifted and offroad and the other a lowered and turbo charged fast truck that would be cool. You always have a fast car so maybe this time have a fast truck.

Love to see a tundra build. Don't be that guy and jump on TRX bandwagon. Plenty other channels doing that one.

yuck, going with anything not a ford is a bad idea lol lightning beats trx and has everything you want. shouldve got a tunable coyote f150. the new f150 has to many changes that are not good. pre 2020 you can make up to 1200whp with boost and fuel. guys run 8s in single cab short bed and 9s in the 1/4 with a crew cab. The mods and truck are less money than TRX . Thats the way to go. That little pretune from whipple is the only tune so far on the new ones. But yet you can tune make all the power with no jeads no cams no pistons no rods no opening the engine unless you want to go built motor which then you can make up to 2500hp on factory block. you need fully built hellcat or LS to male the power a stock sealed coyote makes

Always loved Ford hell a 15 year tech cut my teeth on them back in 1986 still have my 1985 Mustang GT currently drive a 2007 F150 with the dreaded 5.4 3valve 200 metric k on it over serviced 4 plug changes 8 coils at 120k that is when they started to fail. Has no cam phazer rattles had the exhaust manifolds replaced by the dealer I used to work for a cab off frame job they gave me a good price and the tech that did the job a friend when I worked there said never herd a quieter 5.4 with that k on it. My point wanted to replace this 2007 with a newer clone a crew cab FX4 with a v8 the coyote while I found out 17 to 19 models had oil burning issues I waited until 2020 then found out this one has a belt driven oil pump compounded with the wrack issues falling out drive shafts and other issues I will just keep driving my truck until the market goes back to normal then buy a Ram. Oh do you want to know why the 17 to 19 Coyote uses oil its called plasma sprayed cylinders the previous used cast iron sleeves cast into the aluminum block then sized to the piston this was expensive and Europe was doing this with a new process plasma sprayed cylinders a prosses that melts metal powder to a molten stage then applies it to the bore of a cast aluminum block hell been used to resize shafts but the problem. If not applied at a certain speed and right temperature its porous not a problem on retaining a bearing on a shaft in a cylinder a problem with oil control they were replacing motors in the early stages then started playing with dip sticks mis direction for the common folk a dirt bag move. RIP Ford any one that is well informed a tech or talking to a tech will be told your reign is over you are selling shit now.

Ive always wanted a Ram 1500 with the 392 V8, either on the GT form the Rebel/Laramie or RT, up until now not even the TRX got it as entry trim since Ram refuses to give us the 392 V8 It would be interesting if you decided to go on a Ram custom street truck with a 392 V8 or go 426 V8 that I would love to see since Ram refuses to give us the 392 :(

Have owned multiple Ford F-150s & all of them (without exception) have been very durable & low maintenance. Once you start supercharging & modifying, then that’s where these modern vehicles can quickly go sideways. Prefer your Ford content over the more posh car coverage, but I’ll keep subscribing as long as it’s not a Toyota truck - can’t go for Japanese stuff.
