How can they make me so crazy for their chemistry without speaking it out, touching or even working towards it... their feelings just freaking filled every corner of the screen when they're together... In another life, another world... It would've happened

While Dong-Eun and Do-Yeong def had strong chemistry between them which I loved seeing every time I saw them together on the screen I feel the reason why the producers had her end up with the doctor is because well they do have chemistry just not the same intense chemistry but more a kindled, caring understanding chemistry towards each other since both have suffered trauma in the past. And as someone mentioned in the comments below: Do-Yeong is a dominant individual. And someone who will prioritise his reputation and imagery. As for Dong-Eun, she is a woman who follows her own choices and is unpredictable. And a person who's soul still needs to healing. I feel their relationship would not be stable and functional compared to the her and the doctor. But maybe in future things could change and could reunite again.

These two kept me on my feet and were the reason I pushed through the season. I don’t feel like this was one sided as they were both admiring each other throughout the show. Do young had such an effect on Dong eun that even she almost forgot that she was supposed to make yeon Jin really pay, ended up giving her the easy way out by confessing because of Do young but then yeon Jin’s response snapped her back into reality. She began to care for him throughout their time together and refused to get revenge through their daughter. I feel like she realized that she had to really stay away from Do young cause he was one hell of a distraction, he was different, mature, and mentally challenged her, Do young is the cure to her broken heart as you can see she grows empathy when being around him. Their conversations really had Dong eun deep in thought compared to the doctor and Do young of course builds a park for her, thinks about her, and even kills jun Jae for her.

If yeonjin never bullied dong un she would have become as an architect and meet him through in his construction company and they both have ended as a partner because of their seemingly almost same personality.

I wanted the main male lead to have a happy ending too but I literally begged for the scenes between these two

I love the way these two mature actors perform. Their body language and facial expressions are so subtle and just enough, you can feel a kind of bonding and respect between them.

The way he accepted his attraction for Do Eun in front of his wife!!! His intense gaze for her always trying to understand her!!!

I love the doctor but damn the chemistry between these two was way more intense. I hope they’re in a series again and have a chance to do something with all that chemistry

These two had the best chemistry in the whole series. Actually they beat a lot of kdrama couples overall imo. I really hope to see these two in another drama together, as leads. They communicate through eyes and body language, no words needed and they drawn you in.

Dong-eun offered a gimbap for Do-yeong, but he rejected it just like he later rejected Dong-eun's suggestion to divorce young-jen. He did not conform to Dong-eun's plan as she had wished. Later he divorced young-jen to protect his "empire." He then ate a gimbap, which highlights he finally complied with what Dong-eun had wanted from him in the first place. BTW, excellent bgm for this couple, their chemistry and tension are accentuated.

They still didn't get enough screen time in Season 2!!! We need more of them!!! It's so unfair! their chemistry was awesome!! They should have their own drama as main leads!!

Do-Yeong's charisma is insane. I loved every scene where they both appeared together, they had so much tension. I especially loved how Do-Yeong was desperately looking for her in the Go room when he first met her, then turned and left the room, quite disappointed not to see her again. She then appears at the door, ignores him completely, he turns and follows her with his gaze brightened again by her presence. She sits down calmly and plays with her hair, which can be seen ambiguously, as preparation for the Go game but also as indirect flirtation

Though I badly ship these two, I totally get the storyline. I'd rather preserve the feeling of anticipation that they might end up together than to make the situation more mind blowing and absurd if the attraction between them would prosper. This is what we call a matured love and care. They may have felt something but it is impossible to bring it to the next level for the obvious reasons. Broken soul needs healing first. But, undeniably, Jung Sung Il and Song He Kyo made my stomach churn due to oozing chemistry. Hope to see them on a project once again.🥰

Every single time his eyes fall on her you can see him come alive. I love the explicit pain in his eyes & voice when he asks her if her scars still hurt. Her admission that she didn't want to hurt him. I think that was important for him to hear. Yes, he was a pawn in her plan but she was not vindictive or evil to hurt him or his daughter. We know they weren't going to end up together but their scenes still oozed chemistry and I felt that he really did love her too. Some things are better left unspoken I guess.

He is obviously interested in her, he was captured by her for being unpredictable, mysterious and intelligent..plus she is pretty too. Brain and beauty

Let's be real, she had more chemistry with doyeong than the doctor. Even his story has nothing related to the whole plot. We need DD couple as leads in a melodrama🤧🤧🤧

I honestly don't think this drama needed any romance.. but the chemistry between these two actors was insane. Now I'm imagining a more twisted version of the story where dong-eun purposefully steals do-yeong from yeonjin, but ends up developing feelings for him and letting him go.

Maybe it's just me, but they had more chemistry than any one in the series 👀❤️

The mutual respect they have for each other. ;_; Never went in between each others business. And looked out for each other in their own ways. Dong-eun never hurt him or Yeseol. If their significant others were not involved, they would have made a fierce couple 🌸

I saw a korean review channel about Glory and highlight Ha Doyoung's character also add why he didn't leave his wife at first when Dong-eun suggested that to him. It said that he's very meticulous when he makes any decision - from business to personal matters. He doesn't rush and analyze things first. He doesn't like change so he maintains what he can protect. Also speculated that Ha Doyoung thinks that if he's still with Yeon jin , he will be able to see Dong-eun again as he's still one of her pawns in the game of Revenge. From his perspective as concubine's son, he believes family unity and image are very important. When he gathered enough evidences and he had to do damage control, he controlled what he can protect - his company and the daughter he raised Yesol. In my opinion I believe he has strong attraction to Dong-eun because it's the first time he was emotionally and passionately drawn to a woman for her intellectual traits. Dong-eun exudes confidence, mysterious and boldness. This definitely peaked his interest. He never met anyone like her as to him a woman is a complete set to his grandiose image. I don't think he'll pursue Dong-eun after he knew that the Doctor revealed his interest and supported her revenge when they played GO in the park. Ha doyoung sees him as a man of equal standing- in term of influence, wealth and power. Ps. Thank you for the newer version of them both together ❤️ awesome edit 🎉

I think he grew to love her but he knew that anything between them was impossible because his presence in her life would be a constant reminder of his association with Yeon Jin. He might've also been confused about his feelings but he chose to prioritise his love for his daughter above everything else. I think it was the perfect ending but let's hope the writer who screamed at their scenes together will write them into another drama together.

I think ha do young really love dong eun. But he cannot say. When ha do young eat gimbap, i think he miss dong eun. Because he never eat gimbap. Before he and his daughter go to england, he eat the gimbap that dong eun usually eat. He miss dong eun.

I wonder if Ha Do Yeoung will come back for Dong Eun. He misses playing Go with her and can't stop thinking about her. Like Dr. Joo said, now he's single that's bad news for him. Maybe Ha, Do needs an architect to help with a major construction project where he is now and she is in school for that. Just a thought.

I think kdramas with mature sexy leads are in demand there are just too many high school stuff and too many of these older stars are gotten rid of as they age. They are still in great demand by fans in romances. Koreans need to relax too on age gaps. We don't care... Young lady and a gentleman was so good and that Thai drama... Forbidden flower.

I wonder after Dr. Joo gets his revenge on that psychopath with the help of Dong Eun, she decides to leave again, because it seems like revenge has more appeal for them than anything else. Ha Do Yeoung comes back for her just before or after she leaves Dr. Joo. To be honest I hate to think of either. LOL.

Ha do young eat gimbap that dong eun once offered to him. It means that dong eun is still in his heart. Maybe , he remember her words in a convenience store when dong eun eat gimbap. She used to say that she bet her whole life on something. And finally, dong eun beat ha do young in a go match, and beat his wife in a real life. Now, do young decide to eat gimbap that he refused to eat in a similar convenience store. Perhaps, he miss dong eun, and accept her be the winner.

Do-Yeong never truly loved Yeonji..The reason he married Yeonji was because he believed she fits perfectly with him and would help him reach his life goal- a well-established family reputation with no stain. He believed that she is the easiest chess piece to calculate and predict thus she could add more stability in his life. Once he found out that she wasn’t as perfect, predictable as he thought she was, he instantly gave up on her, focused on getting child alimony and saving his life work-his company. He is a dominant individual whom prioritizees stability in his life (by controlling/ordering others around). The fact that he killed his child’s biological father proofs how far he is willing to go, to protect his family’s reputation. Dong-eun on the other hand, is different. For a man who calculates everything in his life, to find someone whose every action is uncertain and cannot be predicted is a huge enigma.

Wanted them to be together but it would make everything just messy considering the circumstances. I like the show wasn't about her getting revenge by sleeping with the husband. But truly just seeking justice for the bullying she endured.

Am I the only one who has been watching this again and again without feeling tired and bored? The chemistry between them is undeniable. More than just love. I love to watch the eyes contact and emotion written all over Dong Eun and especially Do Yeong's face. It makes my heart beat faster and fill with anticipation.

Ahhh I’ve found my tribe ! I thought I was the only one on this ship😂 This just made sense damn it. In my head they are endgame 😌 Okay I have more thoughts 😅 In this type of drama I agree that they didn’t necessarily have to end up together, but my goodness, had she just even slightly acknowledged their mutual attraction, just with a millisecond of a glint in her eye, I might have died! I’m actually not mad that these two didn’t get together, the unspoken attraction did everything it needed to do. I’m moreso mad that they still had to force a romantic story line in a plot that absolutely didn’t need it. Yes, my gripe is with the doctor. Loooved him as the partner in crime and he would have been a perfectly acceptable and necessary friend in need, especially to help her on her healing journey and just get her used to having someone care for her and show her the good side of humanity. But that puppy love schtik was completely forced, out of place and overbearing and ruined the chemistry that should have been there. It just didn’t fit. So yeah, I was more put off by their pairing than the lack of D-D action. 😅 Also I mostly watched Part 2 just cause I was frothing at the mouth for more of their scenes but sadly got too little and not even a satisfying goodbye. Surely she could have just shown up at the convenience store and shared that one last gimpap moment with him, (it would have been so poetic) or an intense silent look. Damn it !

I would like a series as these two as the main characters but not in the typical sort of romance series way but more like they rule the echeleons together and she plays the role as his secretary and behind the curtains they're secretly deeply in love with each other and have to hide it from everyone else.
