WOW ! we just stayed in a suposed gold at burnham on sea haven (and they were supposedly new cravans on the site as they re did the area we stayed in!) and it was NOWHERE near as nice as this! cost us £350 for friday to Monday morning ( iknow prices vary on season and time of year! ..im beginging to think they stiffed us and popped us in a silver or bronze one instead with a wrap around deck etc thinking we wouldnt notice we didnt even get a washing machine like you! ) till i saw your vid of a gold standard! ..it was NOTHING like this! I do know they vary from site to site but yours was way nicer than the one we got at burnham! this looks more like a platinum that you would get at burnham we got an ensuit toilet and sink in the main bedroom and a sperate shower bathroom ...that was it didnt even have a bath like yours let alone 2 showers etc! ..also the one we stayed in was only a year old ! so WHY the big discrepancy across the parks in price and what they consider standard, bronze, silver, gold and platinum? im shocked at what you got and what we got in gold standard at 2 diffrent haven parks only 44 min drive between one another! THis has to be a platinum caravan well it would be at burham and cost a hell of a lot of money for the week!
We Have also stayed at Burnham and had a lovely lake side signature gold but it didn't even come close to the one we had at doniford bay. they do vary and we paid over £350 for the one in Burnham. again for four nights mid week break. in general the one at Don iford are always cheaper than Burnham as i think with Burnham being a much bigger site with more going on than Doniford this is justified. believe me when we checked in we thought we had made a mistake and had to check the door ticket a few times as we were in disbelief that that was the one we had only paid £265.00 for but believe me we were not about to complain and it really was a beautiful unit. thank you for sharing your experiences it's quite interesting how all the sites vary. anyway off to parkdean isle of wight in september so watch out for that review. all the best👍👍👍 also i forgot to mention that we booked it last minute less than a week before, there was only one gold left, i am thinking that maybe they had a cancellation? Hence the price? also on our way back from the isle of wight we have booked a bronze in Donniford for four nights. i will review that as well. we have a dimbola lodge on the isle of wight so will be interesting to see how that compares to the one in the video.
we booked it and it was advertised as a gold and like i say in my review it is like a lodge. it was beautiful and we were very surprised we got it at that price.
