Nah, sending him to a "better" team wouldnt do the job. he loves his team and his teammates and thats the key ingredient to success. But what I think is wrong is that they use him as an entry fragger. Donk is their win condition so you can do anything but sacrifice him for some info which is mostly what the entry is gonna do. Hes not gonna win a round by just entrying the whole spot. Let zontixs be the entry he would do a great job and then let shiro and donk win the round with magixs helping with a lurk.

@@peterenis5334 That's completely true. I felt a bit bad when austin said "his team is actively dragging him down" That felt a bit "toxic" if I'm allowed to say it. What I mean is that I felt sad. His team is probably the only reason he's playing too. And nobody should tell him or force him to do anything. They are all young and inexperienced. Over the years they will get better. Probably what they really need is a very experienced coach and train hard as a team, not only donk doing donk. But the team doing donk(something along those lines).

a lot of mistakes were made that's for sure.

It’s more the fact that his team doesn’t support him to even allow him to get kills. A lot of them are just his own pure gun skills - little support from his teammates in regard to util. Sure, not a chance he would have got the kill record if the game didn’t go on, but winning games is more important than getting a kill record. I’d imagine it’s probably frustrating for Donk himself, he’s literally a one man army with a team that doesn’t even really help him to do so.

He's not supposed to get the kill record in a game vs wildcard. His team should be playing better. When I was better at the game in csgo, I got 15-15 games with 40+ kills sometimes close to 50. I never got 50 though. 48 was my best. Not counting overtime. That's about as good as what donk did this game. I wouldn't get that many kills if my team wasn't playing like shit. I've also gotten 40+ kills losing 14-16 I've gotten 30+ kills in cs2 losing and having a tie as well. It just doesn't feel as bad. If I get 30 kills and we win about 13-0 to 13-5 or something, then Idc because my team wasn't really a factor. The enemy teams level was just that much lower than mine. But it's the close games where you get so many kills the whole game was on your shoulders. Every round you lost you died while still getting 2-4 kills and every round you won you also got 2-5 kills. That's donk's life as a pro player in spirit.. It feels bad enough doing it as a smurf playing with friends that you've boosted to a rank they shouldn't be on. Like I did it to myself. I've only played against a few pros before. The only pro(ish) I've beaten is a female retired one, that I know of anyway. Who knows what you play against in MM these days with people getting put in silver for no reason and low rating in premier for also no reason. I had 8k rating on one acc and played against a 24k hours german with 3k rating. He wasn't better than me, but if I didn't drop 35 kills that game it's a loss. Now neither of us should have been having that low rating. Especially not me because my hidden mmr after losing my rank gave me 16k when I got it back. That's again Donk's life as a pro in a team with people who should be pros. It's not like he steals the show from his teammates, well he does to an extent sure. But when he dies early they still lose with man advantage. It makes sense that it happens to me because of the people I play with and because I am on a different level than them. It shouldn't happen to Donk. They need to replace Magixx and Zontix and maybe even Chopper. Shiro isn't really performing too great, but he probably would on a better team.

I'm all for a good essay, I write a few myself here and there. But you just come of as a fan that doesn't really understand why he's wrong. This video is about Spirit's 4 other players not performing in a game vs a tier 3 team which in turn gave their star player a kill record that he shouldn't have gotten because the game should never have been that close. They played very poorly they didn't support Donk enough. When he did die they didn't trade well they didn't throw nades well, they lose 4v3s. Something with Spirit isn't going well and it's not just a zontix needs to step up 5% issue, it's a Chopper Shiro and Magixx issue as well, replacing any of them if not all of them over a period wouldn't be surprising to me at all if this keeps up. All 4 of them need to step up, Chopper has to bait for donk every round he needs to go first more, and if donk wants to duel he needs to be the flasher, zontix and Shiro has to step up and be more consistent and magixx also needs to step up on pretty much everything just as chopper does. he's the first to be replaced in my book. Then they need to get another IGL and replace Chopper. At that point maybe Zontix and shiro has gotten their shit together. This is the only way Spirit stays as a tier 1 team or competitive enough to become one if they ain't considered one already. The reason people were talking shit about G2 now and Navi when simple was there is because it was the same. Players underperforming and when Monesy and simple were not doing the best none of the other 3-4 players stepped up, in G2's case when Niko wasn't playing well either. People were not typing shit against those players who were shit for no reason. At some point dead weight can't be dead weight anymore if you want to win tournaments You can't just say growing pains etcetc.. These are players that should be good enough to not have that, they should have enough game knowledge to know that communication is what wins games. Telling your teammates where stuff happens and playing together. That's not growing pains, that's a lack of skill. Especially if you don't have a language barrier. That's actually a decent excuse.

I use mouse3 for voicetrecord :D mouse4 for no clip in practice mouse5 to redo last throw utility.

@@pR0ManiacS its surprising me that donk didn't have one of the mouse buttons for voip. I think almost everyone uses mouse 3,4, or 5 for toggle voip. I bound the noclip for my practice offlines to a button I don't need to hit immediately. I just set it to 0...although I was using mouse5 for noclip on offline practice for a bit. I gotta have the other buttons be the radar zoom and silent ping otherwise I'm reaching for a button during a match.

@@PetTheCat1 I play against people in MM with 0 ping often. They live in Stockholm next to the servers. You just have to move next to where the servers are to get that. Only place I know it's possible in MM/premier is Stockholm.

Yes that's exactly what they should eventually do. Unless they don't care about actually winning. Then fine just rely on donk forever and lose every time he's not getting 35+ kills and no one else steps up to pick up the slack. The issue here isn't that Donk can't pop of and carry the team, it's that when he does his team is actively playing so poorly they are dragging him down. And this is against a team that is far below their level. Upsets do happen. But this wouldn't have been an upset if they ended up losing. It would have been Spirits 4 other players not playing well enough. If they won both games convincingly and donk had 20-25 kills, it wouldn't have been an issue because his team did something while he still carried. It's an issue because of how they played. The things they did.
