Let me clarify something for you guys KimBap CheonGuk, which translates into "Kimbap heaven" is not really a chain. When the first KimBap CheonGuk was opened, they decided to make their name a trademark. But they weren't able to because their name was too general and the bureau thought banning other restaurant from using the word Kimbap and heaven together was not fair. Since the original Kimbap Cheonguk chain got bigger, other boonsik restaurants (snack-type restaurants like Kimbap Cheonguk) started to name themselves Kimbap Cheonguk because there was no copyright nor an official trademark. So not all Kimbap Cheonguk restaurants are THE KIMBAP CHEONGUK. In fact, the majority of them are imitations of the original.

Donkatsu is just the korean version of the Japanese katsu. And that means it is a fried meat (usually) that is coated in panko(bread crumbs). I know that the japanese has something similar but with shrimp tenpura. I know that people might not like me explaining it but I'm a foodi at heart and always look forward to Simon and Martina's FapFap days.

I go to a culinary arts class and we've made "tonkatsu" (AKA, breaded pork cutlets) in the past that were flipping amazing. We made two different sauces to put over them and it was just asdkfhdsiadjsj.... Which is French for awesome. We've also been making sushi for a couple days, so I plan on combining my skills to create this tonkatsu kimbap. Can't wait!!

I watched this while eating to avoid being hungry but got hungry anyway. I don't even eat pork but that looks delicious! I want kimbap!
