DKC3 boss theme in pristine studio quality. This was made possible by locating the sounds from workstation keyboards and drum machines such as the Korg Wavestation, Roland S770, and Roland R8, and plugging them into the music instruction data ripped from the game, plus a little mixing magic to create might have sounded like with the veil of 16bit compression lifted. Part of a project to restore the entire DKC series soundtrack

The funny thing is, for the longest time when I was young, I couldn't figure out how to defeat Belcha. So the first world is as far as I got...and then I'd restart the game. Then, by complete accident, my toddler brother figured out you could _feed him the bugs._

That was the whole concept of "What happen if you have a Doctor that spread every single toxic stuff which he works with into the nature?"... and the most notorious example for that was the Ripsaw Rage level when the saw is destroying the nature

Belcha gave me freakin nightmares as a kid. I couldn't figure out how to beat him. I didn't know you could pick up bugs. I thought it was gross. So I constantly kept getting pushed into the damn hole in your regular 90's horror fashion.

@@jackson2531 There is an error screen in DKC3 if the SRAM is wrong. This was done because game copying devices had to have a toooon of SRAM so it could work with every game. Most developers added an SRAM check to prevent illegal copying, and the game gets you an error screen that has the text in the main comment. This error screen also plays Boss Boogie, just to let you know YOU are the boss, and the Kongs will go to your house to beat you up for copying. (just kidding)

You know, I was blown away by a couple of things. The obvious is the music, and what more could be said? It's so good and menacing. Nice job. But as a gamer, I am blown away by the fact you can put barrels down. Also, when fighting Arich, you weren't slamming the barrel against his little legs, it was against his jaw. Huh...

You know for the Squirt battle you don't have to do a circle around when he does his sweep you can actually ride his water when it faces up and land back on your platform so you can respond quicker when the eyes pop out. That was bugging me while watching.

3 is criminally underrated imho. It gets a lot of flak for a lot of things but it had the most content and replay value. The only real drawback was the lag and that can be easily fixed in roms and on newer consoles. Maybe it’s just the nostalgia of this being my childhood but I think Nintendo could benefit from remaking these games in bundle packs with crisper graphics similar to Mario RPG.

Just my opinion but DKC3 was a big step down musically. Gameplay is underrated I liked it more than I thought I would.

That's exactly my opinion on the game. It didn't live up to DKC2, and while it wasn't a satisfying send-off to the trilogy, it was enjoyable in it's own right. David Wise's score for DKC2 was award winning, and even with Eveline Novakovic DKC3's score couldn't live up.
