One can argue DK would win since he's bigger, faster, and stronger too and cause he's the first member of the DK crew. Then again, someone could argue Knuckles is rougher than the rest of them, the best of them. Tougher than leather.
I hate that these guys used a more idiotic version of knuckles. Knuckles was smart, just gullible. Now he's completely unlike himself. I still think that Knuckles would win. He's leagues faster than DK, and can even keep up with Sonic. The speed would have been the factor. Also, Knuckles is smarter than Donkey Kong, yet this death battle is attempting to make this about two idiots fighting one another. That simply isn't the case.

Honestly, this episode is held back wuite a bit for me by the way they composite Knuckles here, specifically that they take the stupidity entirely from his terrible Sonic Boom incarnation. That just isn't Knuckles, it's a less funny Patrick Star who looks like a parade balloon. Oh well, at least the second Sonic movie understood that Knuckles isn't an idiot, time will tell how that portrail is going to effect the way people look at the character.

Part of me was expecting Knuckles to win because the spikes on his 'knuckles'. With every strike on Donkey Kong he would have ripped or cut the hair from his body, weakening him as the fight continued

tibschris have you seen the previous death battles beginning with Beast vs Goliath where they began doing the "Next time on Death Battle" Where they show who's next and want everyone to follow twitter to see their opponent. Solid Snake, Darth Vader, Knuckles, Wolverine and now Hercule. Before Hercule fights, 3 out of the 4 lost.

Ehh, they just lied. Lied about 30 times, it's ridiculous... They removed invincibility powers because "one cancels out the other as seen in Sonic vs Mario" wow... 90 seconds of invincibility (or far far more), gaining new powers, new speed, and being able to make anyone you touch die instantly is apparently 100% equal to 15 seconds of not taking damage..... and that's it. Knuckles destroys 12 feet thick walls in normal form, DK needs a Rhino helper to break through 12 inch walls in mounted form (aka: not on his own, so it's impossible via deathbattle rules) Plus they lied about DK's abilities. How many more lies do they need to tell before they're gonna close their mouths and get off their knees?
+PaladinGear15 You are actually wrong about the strength feats of the characters. You only used feats shown in GAMEPLAY and none from cutscenes and animated shows. In Donkey Kong Country Returns, after defeating a hand boss (real original Nintendo), Donkey Kong is sent flying into the air and lands down on the moon, a moon that is smaller then the real moon, but a moon nonetheless Removing the invincibility actually makes sense as well. Even with the massive increase in speed and strength, if you cant take damage, then the increase in anything, will not matter. None of the super forms give any new powers, they only increase pre-existing powers.
NO! Knuckles is not a moron! The alternate universe version of him from Sonic Boom is dumb as dirt, but not the main version. To trusting yes, but not dumb. If you are really going to bust out so much lore and info from multiple sources, then why not from the comics where he is capable of strategy and being a leader. As a matter of fact is one. It was even required of him to READ and learn about his people's advance technology and history so that he could properly protect Angel Island ( An entire country with people on it.) This guy leads his own strike team for christ sake. Knuckles again is guilty of being too trusting and a hot head, but not a moron. You guys missed the mark on this one. I'm disappointed.

The only problem I have with the information in this death battle is calling Knuckles stupid. He may get tricked by Eggman, but theres a difference between outright stupidity and brash behavior. In Sonic Boom, while he is definitely stupid, hes not Knuckles. His personality is inconsistent with the majority of other incarnations.

Haseo Xth Reason why this is false info. Sonic Boom Knuckles redesign is not canon to the regular Knuckles. You're welcome. Skip to the part where DK splats Knuckles for the "ending". Two errors here. Gravity would make DK fall faster than Knuckles and Knuckles would have glided to the wall and climbed out as DK plummeted to his death. (Edit: Ignore the part about gravity. I goofed up talking about that.) This is not a butt hurt fanboy, this is a guy who can see details and see how the ending was lacking and implossible no matter how you slice it.

Electrohead92 I feel Dante vs Alucard alone would be more enjoyable just cause it's been a highly requested one though from some people the outcome would be a draw but I think that's debatable. I like Alucard but I think if Dante used his full Demonic powers Alucard would probably loose. Now with Bayonetta. I would prefer Bayonetta vs Trish from DMC. For a 3 way fight if they were to do another. I wouldn't mind seeing one with Tommy from Power Rangers. Green Ranger vs White Ranger vs Black Ranger. Or e er make it a 4 way and add in Tommy when he was the Red Ranger.
This battle and the information used in the video rely way too heavily on toon force. Knuckles may be gullible but he is not stupid despite his Boom Incarnation. Strength may realistically be the only thing DK had over him but in every other incarnation Knuckles has always been smart.

Real talk here; I definitely grew up on more Sonic stuff here and thus am a Knuckles fan. Also I do like the notion that hyper Knuckles might have turned the tide here. a lot of people are saying that in the comments. However I did see from the beginning how Donkey Kong had some clear advantages, also when a gorilla that strong gets mad at you, you are certainly in a very tough position. Also the moon event comparison does actually make a lot of sense. It takes a lot more power to knock the actual moon out of orbit, than to destroy a machine that's controlling it. However again I wanted to cheer Knuckles on here but when they went underground, I realized Donkey kong definitely had the advantage. However even though I'm a knuckles fan at heart, I still had fun with this event, so that's cool!
Hyper Knuckles wasn't used because in the first Mario VS Sonic fight, it was established the powerups of both combatant's respective series perfectly counter each other. DK's "Strong Kong" could've countered Hyper Knuckles. That particular detail is why Luigi and Tails only got what was unique to them in their Death Battle.
