But Louis is wrong in this scene. Donna screw'd up, Harvey didn't. So he did not put Harvey in his place, he just falsly accused him being responisible.

The awesome part is when Louis throws away the prepared questions and readies himself to ask some natural questions. Everybody seemed so scared because they knew what he was capable of including donna and harvey.

Even without their knowledge, both Harvey and Louis needed each other more than they could ever imagine. Brilliant acting by both. Louis feeling bad about what he had to do to Donna to help Harvey and then Harvey’s helpless expression when he realizes the truth in what Louis was saying! What a series. Terrific script writing and dialogue.

I wonder how it would go if she had asked him to clarify the word "love". Given the huge number of meanings it has, it could legitimately be said that she loves him, but not romantically, and certainly not enough to risk her job.

That exchange at the end between Harvey and Louis was an amazing display of acting by Rick Hoffman. He was angry and defensive but also appeared to be holding back tears. I'd never seen Louis show that kind of emotion before. You could really tell that it just killed him to have to say those things to Donna and for Harvey to suggest he wanted to absolutely enraged him.

I love how the judge’s in this show just doesn’t believe in objections. Louis is clearly going over the line. As far as I’m aware about legal law, his line of questioning should’ve been stopped at the first objection.
