Recently the Toronto Bluejays broadcast has been playing Hot Stuff! Everybody loves it and they mention Donna. I think if they do okay in the playoffs, we are hearing this.
Working To The Midnight Shift, Queen For A Day, Now I Need You, I Feel Love and the second electronic álbum From Here To The Eternity...Electronic Music under the initial EDM Concrete model forged, developed and initiated in 1977 by Giorgio Moroder, the father, founder and pioneer of EDM. Munich), starting directly from the most sophisticated and evolved lines of Electronic Music 50's 60's (E. Post Concreta, E. Moog, E. Experimental and E. Hearing this in the lobby of a McDonalds......... back in 1977 when this song hit the charts I was 16........now I'm 63.........this song never grows old❤❤❤
As a kid I had to stop what I was doing whenever I saw Donna Summer, she was strikingly beautiful with a voice to match. God I loved her. 🧡 Still do....
I Feel Love, Working To The Midnight Shift, Queen For A Day, Now I Need You y el album From Here To Eternity...1977 el inicio de la EDM Concreta (NRG & Synthpop) forjado por el padre, pionero y fundador Giorgio⚡️Moroder. • EDM Concreta 70s (1ra Generacion): NRG, Synthpop, Electro (EDM + Electronica Post Concreta, Moog, Experimental & Sountrack). My Name Is Giovanni Giorgio But Everybody Calls Me...The Sound Of Future
OMG YES "mesmerising" is the exact word! It's like she's in a trance and she's hypnotising you to join her. She's one of those vocalists i think of more like a mythological Siren.
Funny you should say that.... I put me in a strange trance when I first heard it back 1977. So I will lie down and see if it's still possible all these years later. There was a song called All Of My Heart by ABC that would make feel like I was floating near the end of I lay down and listened. The other one is I'm In Love With A German Film Star by The Passions, but both were from the 1980s and both "sent" me, that was the only way I could describe it.

There are way too many to choose one over another. Gloria Gaynor's tunes were also up there McFadden and Whitehead or Anita Ward 's: You can ring my Bell'.
The NRG & Synthpop Matrix Sound Of Giorgio⚡️Moroder father and pionner of EDM since 1977
My name is Giovanni Giorgio, but everybody calls me...the father, founder and pionner of EDM / The Sound Of The Future.
Exactly what I was thinking, it sounds like it was composed and produced decades later and was sent back with a time machine. It's no wonder Donna hung around with the prog rock people.
I find it really boring to read these constant,”ahead of it’s time” comments. Firstly is music improving? Secondly why should just because something is new make it better? And lastly music is part ofa library just like books, that creates a cultural legacy and makes life worth living
Anyone who wants to read books, read her memoirs: It is just amazing, she became successful not here in the United States, but in Germany, and the stories she tells from Germany will amaze you.

@@steveegallo3384 Giorgio Moroder and the beginning of Modern Electronics (EDM) Giorgio Moroder began experimenting with electronics since the early 70's, starting directly from the 4 classic lines of Electronic Music (E. Post Concreta, E. Moog, E. Experimental and E. Soundtrack/Ambient, Sci- Fi) in synthesis with Pop songs (under a preferential beginning along the lines of E. Moog and E. Soundtrack/Ambient, Sci-Fi) in songs like Song Of My Father or Tears (1971) and songs for European artists (like the singer Scottish Lulu) who were looking for this new synthesis of E. Moog with Pop songs, meanwhile Kraftwerk only made noise and sound distortion with their characteristic Krautrock Düsseldorf & German Progressive Rock (which were not classic, direct and main lines of electronic music) . By 1975 Moroder released his first electronic album Einzelganger where he masterfully applied the 4 pillars of Classical Electronic Music (E. Moog, E. Experimental, E. Post Concreta and E. Soundtrack / Ambient, Sci-Fi), while Kraftwerk (1974 ) began to replicate and copy these classic lines of Electronic Music mixed with Krautrock Düsseldorf (Autobhan), Moroder far surpasses the productions of Kraftwerk (1974) with the direct use and management of the classic lines of Electronic Music (without Krautrock substance & German Progressive Rock in between), Einzelganger was released months before the album Radioactivity that same year, the Conny Plank boys (Kraftwerk) were beginning to pay attention to the productions (E. Munich/ Music L. Studio) of Giorgio Moroder. The definitive fall of Kraftwerk came in 1977 with Moroder's new Electronica productions (continuing the evolution of the Einzelganger album) that finally evolved and revolutionized the 4 classic lines of Electronic Music with the Concrete EDM model that Moroder forged and initiated that same year (E. Munich / Working To The Midnight Shift, Queen For A Day, Now I Need You, I Feel Love and their second electronic album From Here To The Eternity), all under the solid and concrete beginning of this nascent electronic scene that in its first phase of development and evolution (1977-1980) the 3 main and primary electronic genres of EDM Concreto 70's were formed and consolidated: HI-NRG, Synthpop and Electro. Kraftwerk and their stagnant, rustic and underdeveloped album T. Europa E. (1977) bow to Giorgio Moroder's Concrete EDM model, paying homage in 1978 with the album The Man Machine where Conny Plank's boys practically replicate and copy the specific electronic bases of EDM (HI-NRG and Synthpop) in songs like Spacelab, Metropolis, The Model...among others. Kraftwerk, defeated by Moroder, began to put an end to its descendants and lineage Progressive German Rock & Krautrock Düsseldorf in future productions, even more so when in 1980 Ryuichi Sakamoto and his independent productions associated with YMO (E. Japan in synthesis with Concrete post 1977) began the primary electronic model and matrix of Electro (third and last electronic genre of EDM in its first phase of evolution and development 1977-1980), it is from here that Kraftwerk again replicates and takes the productions of other developers for the formation of the album Computer Word (1981), this time it was Ryuichi Sakamoto's turn and his works from that year 1980 / Lexington Queen, Wareheat, B-2 Unit and the Grail of the Electro matrix sound...the song Riot In Lagos, also added to this is the most minimalist of HI-NRG and Synthpop achieved until 1980 + the electronic lines of the group of the top producers and developers of the 70's: Moroder (E. Munich), Jarre (E. France), Lacksman (E. Belgium), YMO (E. Japan), Tangerine Dreams & Schulze (E. Berlin)...among others. The matrices and primary bases of EDM Concreto + the electronic lines of the group of the top producers and developers of Electronics of the 70's (Third Wave): Moroder, Jarre, Lacksman, YMO, Tangerine Dreams, Schulze, Vangelis, Tonet, Gizzi, Pinhas , Martín W. & Ian C. + the synthesis of EDM with the Disco / Funk scene...are the roots and fundamental electronic lines for the beginning and branching of genres of the 80's EDM scene (Second phase of evolution and development / 1981 -1989): House, Techno, Synthpop, HI-NRG, Freestyle, Italo, Electro Funk, New Beat, Trance, Acid, Electro, Eurobeat...including the primary electronic base of "ebm", the most sophisticated of Electro Industrial , the primary electronic molds that the converted Punk/Rockers take for the development of their nascent New Wave scene (in terms of Electronic) and the primary electronic basis of the Hip Hop / Rap scene of the 80's (detached from Classic Funk in synthesis with the EDM). This song reminds me of my mom , I'm a seventies kid and my would go to studio 57 in San Jose CA. To disco dance . Donna Summers was her favorite so she'd come home and grab her Donna Summers record and play that whole album front side and bottom side lol she would continue to disco dance in our living room. She had the most awesome outfits on very sparkly and her matching shoes . I loved watch her I was only 5 years old at the time and every time my mom saw me watching her dance she'd call me over to her and join me while we danced I was in a very happy place it's my only good memory at a young age I was very abused by my sister dad at the time so it made me quiet and shy but when she called me to her to join in with her and just let loose, aaahhh what a good time I'd have . I wish that I could see my mom dance again , so young ,fun , beautiful and loving that memory is to me. I love you mama.God bless you❤

1977 This is the sound of the future today Here in the year 2022 45 years later; the future has arrived, and this song is even better than anything made today or anticipated from then! It has stood the test of time ! You are a Genius Gorgio Moroder and Rest in Peace Donna Summer ! Thank you both for this!
This is why Donna was the Queen of Disco. Not only did she and Giorgio produce high quality disco records that matched and surpassed the current disco sound of the time but they were also making high quality disco records of the future. I Feel Love is timeless

They say there's no such thing as Perfection, but this found it. Watching Donna Summer in her element is just pure perfection. They just don't make music like this anymore.
If anything, she inspired techno music, new wave and electronic funk. This 1977 song sounds like 1985 or later. Her songs were varied but this song was Proto- techno.
The track I feel love was created by The genius (Giorgio Moroder) producer without him there would Never be (I feel love) and Donna Summer on vocals which Giorgio picked Donna Summer to sing the vocals on the Track..and the rest is history..this is also the Most remixed track in the history of dance music..🎶🎶
@@samanthafigs9121 The term house music didn't even exist back in 1977 when this track was created..and I was around back..then.. I doubt you where ..I've been in the music industry for 4 decades..I know my shit.
The frequency of the synths / drum machine and our majesties melodic grace and sensuality will forever catapult my vibes that shiver my soul out of my mind (Crown Chakra). She still has my ❤️🔥

I was two months old when this came out but I remember people wearing these clothes, and playing this record a lot. I'm now 47 and I still occasionally revisit this post and listen to it again. Love the kaftans the backup singers are wearing, and Donna looks like a doll, a model. Love her sequins!
I had to come here after watching Spinning Gold , Donna Summer will always be a goddess and The queen of disco also not forget Giorgio Moroder l love him for the music .
I was 8 years old when this came out. We went to my grandparents house one night and my grandma had this giant wooden cabinet stereo/record player. She put this song on and everyone was amazed at the sounds coming out of that thing.
― I remember hearing this sound for the first time. Cranked up the record player and Space ships were landing on the house. Sounded like that anyway to an 11-year-old. Unreal. One of the cool things about getting older. Being there when things first started. Like Electronic Music. And after 50+ years, that list of Firsts is getting very long. Maybe you can relate?
