These words make me very happy and honored!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! :) :) :) Donna Summer had a beautiful voice, very particular. I would love to one day make a version with the voice...(although it will not be easy to find the right voice)
To think that Giorgio Moroder discovered this music by accident (I mean the delay) was miraculous back in 1977, so ahead of it's time. It is, to this day, my favourite Synth sound. And you have reproduced it so very well, hats off!
It's true!!! He created a masterpiece that was truly futuristic for those years and still remains unchanged today!!! What a genius!!! In fact, the characteristic of this song is the bass with its particular delay effects. It was not easy to get closer to the original effect and rhythm, moreover, I dedicated a lot of energy to create the stereo effects!! You don't know how happy I am to read your compliments... THANK YOU OF HEART MY FRIEND, FOR YOUR AWESOME COMMENT :) :) :)
1977? Damn. That is really ahead of its time. This kind of music is amazing. Idk what went wrong at the end of the 80s. In 87 new beat came around and kinda ruined the golden era of music
Oh my lord- I'm blown away, the mother of dance music, and you have so carefully re-crafted it in spectacular fashion. It sounds almost identical to original! There are nuances that moroder had in that sequence that usually people are dumbfounded by , and you found them, the small perc hits..stabs, wierd synth basses..in the right place..cannot praise you enough, your attention to detail is class. Some ppl don't like a 'clone' cover. I Do..because I know the effort you've gone to for respect of the original artists on all your covers. Just still blown away by that Mick.
Receiving all these compliments and being able to speak with a great music expert like you (who listens to the most hidden details) is truly an IMMENSE pleasure. Often, my hard work in recreating these details is not even felt. Only a few people like you who have an excellent ear repay me for all this. It is true, many people do not appreciate this way of making covers, but I like to recreate all the details that I can hear to get as close as possible to the sounds of the original one!! THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR WONDERFUL COMMENTS, MICK!!! You don't know how happy you made me :) :) :)
I'm very pleased that you appreciate my efforts in creating these tributes and I really thank you of heart Xayshalope, for your incredible compliments!!!! :) :) :)
I used to get grief in high school for liking Donna Summer (this was back in the late 70s) from my weed smoking friends, but combining her with Moroder... that was a pure synthesis of genius. I still love this song, and your version of it does honor to the original!
SUPER WOOOWWWW, MATE!!!!!!! It is really a great satisfaction to read your comment and I'm really happy that you enjoyed my cover!!!! I have always loved this song, "Chase" and "From Here to Eternity" by Giorgio Moroder... music that takes you to another dimension!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR AMAZING COMMENT, RAY :) :) :)
MEGA WOOWWWW, MY FRIEND!!!!!!! It is a real pleasure that you also liked this cover!!! I worked hard to recreate this track and I understood how much work Giorgio Moroder did to make this masterpiece... and Donna Summer completed the work with her unmistakable voice making it an IMMORTAL song!!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPERB COMMENT :) :) :)
Dude, I just discovered you and you're seriously blowing me away at how unbelievably accurate your music sounds to the originals. I'm absolutely speechless how you're able to do this. I never clicked SUBSCRIBE faster on RU-vid and I'm a RU-vid junkie for years!!! BRAVO!!!
:D It's one of the most beautiful comments I've ever received and you make me feel very flattered!!!! I'm really glad that you appreciate my passion in recreating these classics!!!! THANK YOU OF HEART FOR ALL YOUR COMMENTS AND FOR YOUR SPECIAL SUPPORT!!!! You made me feel truly honored, my friend :) :) :)
@@KOSmusicovers Well deserved because not only does your music sound amazing but I can see you really put hard work into making the music fit the theme.
This track inspired me so much. Even today it gives me goosebumps. Giorgio was without doubt one of the pioneers leading the way for others to follow in his footsteps.
Oh yes, it was always a futuristic masterpiece even in its day (as was Cerrone's "Supernature") and is still incredibly powerful today. Personally, I only listen to music from the past because it's the only one that gives me emotion, inspiration and never tires :) :) :)
@@KOSmusicovers it's funny growing up in Liverpool we were all broke yet we wanted to be part of this new electronic sound. We bought our first synth via a mail-order catalog where we could pay a few quid a month over 36 months. But we we're not alone few bands back then owned their synth's and even less (including us) knew how to play them. That's why we all had reel to reel tape recorders!
MEGA WOOWWWW!!!!! It is a great pleasure to know that you liked my version of this Giorgio Moroder masterpiece!!!! Thank you very very much, for your super compliments :) :) :)
I've got to say I've listened to loads of versions of this the best I've Heard was the version by dr mix UNTIL NOW your take on this classic is sonically perfect its absolutely amazing just cant believe you've perfectly nailed it.
TRIPLE WOOOWWWW... You are very kind!!!!!!!!!!! I'm really happy that you enjoyed my work on this cover!!! I have always loved this fantastic song so avant-garde for here times and still manages to be modern today! I worked hard to create the closest bassline as possible because in my opinion, it is a fundamental part of the structure and rhythm of this track. THANK YOU VERY MUCH MY FRIEND, YOUR COMMENT IS REALLY AMAZING!!! :) :) :)
WOOOWWWW!!!!!! It is a real honor for me to know this!!!! It is one of the best compliments that a music lover like me can receive!!! Thanks again Lee, for your magnificent comments :) :) :)
THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!!!! It is an immense joy to know you liked it :) :) :) It has always been one of my favorites and wonderfully expresses the soul of the synths!!!
It always happened to me when I was creating this track and during the mixing/mastering phase I seemed to hear the mythical voice of Donna Summer... Oooooh, it's so good, it's so good... !!! I'd like to find a singer on RU-vid who can approach her unmistakable voice and create a version with the voice of this classic :) :) :)
Thank you SO MUCH for not playing the vocal melody with another instrument on your covers. Really shows how damned detailed you have gotten in making it. Amazing work, every time. xxx
FANTASTIC!!!! I'm really glad you enjoyed my covers and my way of making them!!! I've always loved the instrumental versions, because they allow you to hear the beauty of the track in all its parts. THANKS AGAIN MATE, FOR YOUR FABULOUS COMPLIMENTS :) :) :)
MEGA WOOWWWW, MATE!!!!!!! WHAT A MAGNIFICENT COMMENT!!! I am really happy that you enjoyed my version and it's a great satisfaction for me!!! Thank you so much for these FANTASTIC compliments, my friend :) :) :)

WOOWWW!!!! I'm really glad you liked it!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, FOR YOUR AMAZING COMPLIMENTS!!! It has always been one of my favorite songs along with "Chase" and "From Here To Eternity" :) :) :)
Definitely the single greatest disco/techno track ever made...to this day I absolutely love this track...it was years ahead of it's time! You nailed this cover where so many others have missed the mark...absolute perfection!
YOU ARE SO KIND!!!!! It is truly a great joy to know this!!! Absolutely yes, this song is an absolute and very futuristic masterpiece for those years. Also, I have always loved the powerful bass line on which the whole structure of the track is based and Donna Summer's legendary voice sweetened the whole melody creating a perfect mix!! I thank you of heart Jason, for appreciating my efforts to try to get as close to the original as possible :) :) :)
YOU ARE SO KIND, MY FRIEND :) :) :) It is a great joy to know that you liked my work on this classic from the 70s!!!!! Thanks again for your SUPER compliments, mate!!!
It's true!!! I always liked his style, he is really a GENIUS!!! In the future, I would like to try to recreate the fantastic "Chase" too!!! I'm glad you liked my version!!! Thanks so much :) :) :)
OH, THANK YOU SO MUCH, JANESIONUT!!!!! I am very pleased that we have the same tastes!! Another one I love about Girogio Moroder is Chase... MASTERPIECE!!!! Thanks again for your fantastic comments and for your support!!! A big hello from Italy :) :) :)
WOOWW!!!!!!! I am really happy that you like my passion :) GREAT IDEA!!! In the future I could try to recreate some of their SUPER songs!!! Thanks again for your trust and for your AWESOME comment!!! A big hello, my friend :) :) :)
Blimey this is accurate! Had a go myself years ago and got absolutely nowhere near this level. Every single component of the original seems to be there in, to my ears, total replication. Fantastic effort.
OH WOOOWWW, MAN!!!!! I always loved this song and it's a great joy to receive these compliments from another musician!!!! Someday I'd like to do "Chase" and "From here to eternity", even if it won't be easy to recreate them. THANKS AGAIN MATE, FOR YOUR INCREDIBLE COMMENT :) :) :)
@@KOSmusicovers I'll be honest, I could listen to those flanged 16ths in the right channel on their own for hours. How about having a stab at Blue Monday?
MEGA WOOWWWW, MATE!!!!!!! It is really FANTASTIC that you appreciated my efforts to create this fabulous classic of synthesized music!!! This fills me with great satisfaction!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR AWESOME COMMENT, MY FRIEND :) :) :)
It would be really nice to be him and to have his GREAT genius!!!! I've always loved that bass line and I'm very glad that you appreciate all my work on this classic!!!! MANY MANY THANKS MY FRIEND, FOR YOUR GREAT SUPPORT AND FOR YOUR FABULOUS WORDS :) :) :)
YOU ARE VERY VERY KIND!!!!!!! It is a great pleasure to know this!!! It has always been one of my favorite songs by Giorgio Moroder (along with "From Here To Eternity" and "Chase")!!!! THANKS AGAIN, MY FRIEND :) :) :)
@@KOSmusicovers From Here To Eternity and Chase are awesome. (Chase was the first Giorgio Moroder tune I listened to I recommend his album E=mc2 the first live to digital recorded album.)
One of the greatest pieces ever produced and Giorgio inspired so many great Electronic/Synth bands that came later. Like many others here have said, you nailed it, and it was as a 16 year old lad that after hearing this track, my love for this genre was born.
WONDERFUL!!!!!!! It is a huge pleasure for me to know that you appreciate my tribute to this great classic so much in every detai!!!! Thank you very very much Rigpa, for your fantastic compliments and for your encouragement :) :) :)
Fell down this synth rabbit hole with Kos at the helm and I love it. You're fantastic and your attention to detail, amazing graphics and talent makes me smile!
MEGA WOOOWWW, MATE!!!!!! Your comment really leaves me speechless!!!! It is a real joy to know that you appreciate my way to create videos/covers!!!! THANK YOU OF HEART DAVE, FOR YOUR IMMENSE KINDNESS AND FOR YOUR MAGNIFICENT COMPLIMENTS :) :) :)
WOOOWWWW!!!!! It is a real joy to know that you liked this homage!!!! MANY MANY THANKS :) :) :) I've always loved Giorgio Moroder's style and her masterpieces... Donna Summer was really AMAZING with her UNIQUE talent!!!! Those were years when artists/composers made you dream with their music!!!
OH WOOOWWW, MATE!!!!!! It is a great joy to know that you have found my channel and that you have enjoyed my tribute to this WONDERFUL classic!!!! THANK YOU OF HEART SCOTT, FOR YOUR INCREDIBLE COMMENT AND FOR YOUR SUPPORT :) :) :)
GREAT!!!!! It is really a pleasure that you also liked this cover!!! I worked hard on each sound/effect to be able to get as close as possible to the original!!! THANKS AGAIN MARCELO, FOR APPRECIATING MY VERSION!!!! :) :) :)
MEGA WOOWWWW, MY FRIEND!!!!!!! I am very happy to know this and that you liked this cover too!!! A BIG THANKS TO YOU BRO, FOR THIS INCREDIBLE COMMENT!!! A big hello and a lot of happiness :) :) :)
Actually, it's very easy. Just set the repetition of the note slightly later... in this way you press the key once and the synth repeats the same note a few thousandths later. To make this fantastic bass line, Giorgio Moroder will surely have used the Moog's arpeggiator!! :) :) :)
I like this song a lot, and this cover is the best that I have found. It seems like original even in the smallest detail effects. Also is so relaxing using earphones. So awesome
FANTASTIC!!!!!! It wasn't easy to make realistic choir, but in the end I managed to get what I had in mind and I'm really glad you appreciated my work on this part!!! Thanks again, Akiss :) :) :)
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!! It wasn't an easy track to recreate, but I tried to get as close to the original as possible with every sound and I'm really happy that you liked my tribute :) :) :)
Excellent... I programmed it myself years ago for my 70's band. You can get mad, while producing ist, because the frequencies layers and the delay on baselick make your ears blind after 1 hour :-)
MEGA WOOWWWW, MATE!!!!! I am really happy that you enjoyed my version!!!! FANTASTIC!!! You're absolutely right :D in fact it was the most complex part to recreate that of the bass line and I had to listen to it many times to get there close enough to the great effect that Giorgio Moroder created!!! Another one that I love is "Chase"... what music in the 70s/80s!!! THANKS AGAIN, STEFAN :) :) :)
SUPER WOOWWW!!!!!! You are very kind and it is a great honor to know this!!!! I have always loved their version and I really like their shows!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH MATE, FOR YOUR AMAZING COMPLIMENT :) :) :)
WHAT A FABULOUS COMMENT!!!!!! I am very flattered to read your FANTASTIC words, Chris!!! It fills me with happiness to know that my cover has given you this emotion!!! THANK YOU OF HEART MY FRIEND, FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND FOR YOUR AMAZING COMPLIMENT :) :) :)
a little late to the game here, but like you, i *love* my Yamaha CS1x. it's the only control surface i use in my little bedroom studio. while the sounds are authentic and super fun, it also works *really* well to control my other synths both hardware and software. likely, they'll bury me with the darn thing. in hands such as yours, the CS1x really shines. thank you for your hard work- your channel is incredibly informative; but i need to disclose that for the most part, i'm here for the fun and dancing.
IT'S FANTASTIC, MY FRIEND!!!!! I am always happy to meet other CS1x fans and owners!!! Absolutely yes!!! It has very powerful and rich sounds. It is also very versatile and with a little work on its controls, you can modify the presets to get what you want. In recent years, I have learned to understand it and take advantage of its qualities even for 80s music (I used one of its presets for the main percussive sound of my new Fletch cover)!! Those who think that it is worthless... are wrong and probably have not learned to use it seriously! In the future, I will make videos entirely dedicated to CS1x for fans of this WONDERFUL synth!! You're right, it's very convenient to control other synths... in fact to recreate covers close enough to the originals, I have to use some VST. It fills me with happiness, knowing you appreciate my passion and that you have fun with my videos!! THANK YOU OF HEART FOR YOUR AMAZING COMMENT, MATE!!!! :) :) :)
