Fabulous!! There will never be another. I was 11. I remember her vividly. She touched everyone. She was a force of nature. Diana was a megastar. Donna was a singer’s singer. She was a storyteller like Frank Sinatra. Aretha is the Queen of soul. Donna Summer ruled 1979. She is the Queen of Disco. She’ll forever go down in history as singular, and the very best there was!
Boys and girls that's how a real singer does it she doesn't shout and was always prefect on every note never out of tune beautiful inside and out sorely missied. Always loved her still do a real singer pure talent xxx
the media completely lied ( no surprise) saying she was a studio gimmick and not a real live performer. this is 45 years old and it sounds incredible on an old analog video. image how good this sounded sitting in from of the stage in 1979. the rigged media got under donna's skin because shortly before bad girls was released she was very enthusiastic about her upcoming album but by sept 1979 was going to a preacher to "save her." if she got the proper reviews that would have kept her spirits up.
the japanese musicians really complement donna's ability. imagine if she went to russia and worked with russian musicians in 1979. she represented the best of the mid 1970s to early 1980s. the criticism she received in the late 1970s about not being a credible artist are acts of projectionism make by people who were not artists but media gimmicks like billy joel
@@dddddadadad1796 donna was the best singer of non rock songs ever. the rest do not even come close or are 4th rate actors pretending to be singers like madonna or shitney hou stain or the miss piggy look alike mariah carey. even pat benetar and bette midler and linda ronstant had mostly hideous songs and looked hideous.

Thank you for posting. I had always wanted to see/hear Donna perform Hot Stuff live in 1979. She certainly didn't disappoint. Absolutely incredible that she sounded as good if not better than her recordings. Again, thank you!!!
too many cover songs she needed to sing love to love you baby and make it sound good with lots of electronic sounds and powerful backup singing like on the studio single.
43:20 to 43:30 the best singing and appearance-outfit ever. this is the most glorious look and appearance i think i've ever seen on a woman and it was what made donna cool both then and now.
Too bad it's the only live clip on RU-vid of her performing this song live. I definitely noticed it - and it took her a while to get back on track, but she did.

neal bogart was a massive failure as far as how market donna to the major cities of the usa for her live concerts aside from nyc and los angeles... they only needed good radio commercials that would excite people like the did by the mid 1980s.
