I lost my father to colon cancer and this man was truly such an amazing man, he was always so strong and always took such care of my 3 brothers. we've always been so close u dont know what I would do without them. our mom is still with us and my heart breaks everytime I see her ( which is everyday cause I live next door my youngest brother lives next door on the other side of her and the older twin brothers just down the rd.) so again very close. lol my mother and father met each other in the 3rd grade and thought they were "boyfriend girlfriend" then, always stayed close friends and then in high school decided to make it forever. so they got engaged and then 1yr after graduation they got married. ffward 2 yrs later my twin brothers came then ffward 5yrs I came in the family. what a life we always had, family vacations rocked. well then 16yrs later my mom and dad announced that my youngest brother would be here in 9 months. wow, right!! and the day he arrived he just stole all our hearts. a other voice added to our dinner table. over the yrs. we had sadness, happiness, good behavior and of course some bad behavior thru it all our parents always had our backs and as bro and sisters we had eachother to always lean on. amazing, loving, awesome, crazy, loud, family. my dad fought so so hard for 12 yrs battling this monster cancer. he did all he could but eventually he just couldn't fight anymore, our lives have changed forever when we had to say bye to him. but I know we will all be together again, its still hard I just miss him so much, it hurts. but I find myself always praying for my mom. she has changed so much she just cries and cries and feels so lost without my dad with her, its always been them, she worries me but when I come upon your music and listened girl it had me immediately so of course I had to let my mother who always use to walk around singing while she cleaned or whatever j she loved to sing and we loved to hear her sing. but since dad left she stopped after I played your music she absolutely loved it. well let me tell u I walked in her house and before I could yell for her I heard her singing again. it. was the most beautiful sound I've heard from her since dad passed. so I thank u for sharing your music because u have us our happy beautiful mother back and that means more to my brothers and I then u could ever imagine. you and your voice is the biggest BLESSING for our family. Thank You!!!!!!
I found you by accident it was the song about being jealous of the angels, and I absolutely bawled because it took me back to when I lost my mother at 16.Please do not ever neglect this gift of song that you have been blessed with your voice is amazing..
You should pull of Jenn Bostic's Jealous of the Angels. She is the songwriter, and wrote the song about losing her father when she was a young girl. :) Beautiful song. Sorry for your loss.
Amen u was so young, i lost my mom at 25. I thought for a long time it was my felt, this song gave me hope were i will one day see my beautiful mommy again. Amen
