I asked my dad how he started smoking Marlboro and he said when he was in Vietnam, the cigarette companies provided shipping containers full of free cigarettes to the gi’s and all the Kools were taken, so he started smoking reds. Lol. Those cig companies are slick af. Got a whole army hooked on smokes guaranteeing customers for life. Wild. (Edit: My dad quit smoking about 30 years ago, FYI.)
