This ukulele came nicely set up. It plays well and sounds good. Uke has upgraded gig bag and tuners. Nice binding. The rosette is not as dark as it appears in advertising pictures. Rosewood fretboard and bridge. Bone nut and saddle. Shoulder strap on the gig bag. Ukulele strap is the clip-on style. Since the ukulele comes with strap buttons, I'd buy a strap that uses them.
Right now Donner DUC-1 mahogany concert ukulele (with 25% off coupon) is much cheaper and I prefer it over the Donner DUC-200.
Why do I like the DUC-1 better? I like the rosette better. Gig bag has backpack straps. It has a better strap. Lower price!

Hey Rich i am a subscriber of your channel. I really enjoy your reviews. I have the exsact same Donner uke.And i also just got the Tenor Donner uke.I have the same problem with both ukes.The A string.They both are very loose when i tune them to A.They are not even close to the right pitch of what they should be. I've tried different tuners. I've tried stretching the strings and playing for month.. both of them. Please let me know if you find the time. What I can do about this problem? It's very frustrating that I can't play them in tune.

Brian, you've stumped me. I've had hundreds of ukuleles but have never experienced the problem you have. Only way this could be would be you are tuning the A string an octave lower than should be, but then you know how it is suppose to sound and you have other ukuleles. When I put on my Sherlock Homes cap, it's clear to me that the problem is not with the ukuleles. Chances of that happening are very, very small. It's not the ukes. It's not the strings. It's not the clip on tuners. It's not the tuning pegs.
