I’m born in 2001, always been interested in many genres of music that makes me feel alive, that do something to my heart, and guys… this is fucking incredible. We the new generation with a selective ear are sad of not finding good parties with good old tracks like this… Cause listening to music is so good, but to share it is also part of the joy… ahhhhhh nevermind, this track is pure gold If you have recommandation of classic like this don’t hesitate to comment… thank you and have a GOOD DAY 🫶🏻💗✨
Getting up at 4am, leaving your house by 5am, and arriving at Club Shelter (whether 39th St. or Varick St.; never experienced Hubert St.) around 6am just before daybreak just so you can allow Timmy to take you on a journey till 2pm. Those octopus arms and restless souls will never be forgotten. House music forever!!! Still seeking analog energy in a digital world.... ❤️
Ahhhhh the joys of that Big Room on the floor, I also remember the only night the first floor was more packed then the second floor. That was the night the Martinez Brothers did their first gig I believe. That place brings back oh so many great memories.
Absolutely...I was a Club Zanzibar head where the legendary Tony Humphries was the DJ when I lives in Newark, NJ. The dancing I did my goodness. House Music takes you to another dimension. And that's still my choice of music!!! #GetExcited
So happy that this popped up in my suggestions because he was my neighbor in Atlanta many moons ago. What a wonderful spirit and I was so blessed to hear him sing almost every night. Those were the "Good Times " of our lives because we were so broke "scratching and surviving", but we still made the best out of our day without hurting anybody or anything, plus stayed far away from drama. Back in the days when people looked out for each other. Don't get it twisted there were dirty evil people back then....just a little less of them. 😉 Celebrate each other's differences!🤎💯
That jazz mid section 😘. The keys... Housing it up.... We're housing it up....👆...This is high vibe happy clapping music. You dance with friendly people just getting high on this vibe in clubs - no drugs! The music 'is'. Good feeling Energy. All these years never fails 👏
During Racism20 Protests in NYC, I am so happy/nappy to be Black and Proud and living conscious on Cloud 9.. Praying for Peace and Equality. Timmy worked this song well every time!!
This track is awesome! Has a great start which then follows by excellent vocals. Builds up.nicely then hits you with a great piano solo, back to vocals then builds again to a great finish with excellent chords! This is what I like to call a golden house track. Quality!
Any song that can causes one to self reflect is a song worth listening to. When it rains it pours. When we shed tears, it doesn't always mean that we are sad!! What a happy song this is😂😂😂
Funny I have a van I drive for work that has a CD player. I pulled out some old cds. One is a house mix tape. This song came on and made my day. I forgot all about it
Him & my brother went to Science High School in Newark together, he used to be at my house all the time when I was a kid, lived around the corner from us on Weequahic avenue
I've found my long lost tune, that I had never stopped searching for it as it has always been stuck in my head for about 10yrs now, lol its so uplifting, always make me emotional and then happy, as this tune is me, thanks, Donnie got you now forever from today
I have been searching till August 2018 and found it.....I used to listen to this song back in my varsity days around 2005 and back. Swaziland checking in...
I've had another mix of that on a MAW compilation, more of a dub version. First time I heard this the other day, I well and truly an not getting any more hellos from my neighbours. An absolute tune. House like this will never be out of date. If you have been listening to House since the 80s like me, then you get me.
This one is sooo emotional and the first time i ever heard a Quentin Harris production back in 2003 (bigup the legendary house producer Booker T for letting me know about it!!). Thought it was made back in 95' as it has that classic House sound in it from that era.
This brings back old memories when my dad used to play this song in the car when he was coming home from work back in 2012. i have to admit i started dancing
