The Butternut with those pearl white stripes is unique and tasty. Love it. Also, like you mentioned, the slick street racing move is leaving the 350 emblem on the fender. ;-) Donnie's cool af.

I drive a 72 Nova (1x27h2L) and next town (no 3 mls. away) a friend of mine has one too. I thought these were more rare in Germany ! Natalie smiled at me saying 'girls have more fun, I got a 383 and you only a 350'. THANK YOU BABE ! That's what I wanted to hear :-(

I ADORE that he left the 350 badge and has a semi quiet exhaust even though it still sounds healthier then a stock small block . I LOVE SLEEPERS MORE THEN MOST ANYTHING . This car has a trick but subtle paint AND the wheels are fancy and loud somebody might think it's a clean car with nice bling wheels and more of a cruiser . I don't reckon everybody will recognize it right away as a Savage big block car although many WILL hear the not so loud but telling exhaust note and realize the engine is not a mild 350 . I like a sleeper with the most quiet exhaust one can run that has dumps you open to scare the bejeezus out of somebody when they discount you and then you savage them .

Love this car one of the cleanest nova’s I’ve saw on RU-vid. I had a 1971 back in the day young and dumb let it go. Mine was beige same rag top(no stripes) not as near the horses 😏. Love it. Mine had the same rocker covers haven’t saw too many with them like it. Super clean love the car hope you have fun with it stay safe ✌️.

@@RonSmith472 The difference is actually night and day my first big block was a 454 built up and was around 500hp and the way that car sounds and the way it looked and sounded when he pulled that holshot reminded me of that now my 3rd big block was a 540 basically a race build but ran on pump gas it was around 750hp and the car went from just fun to drive to you better be paying attention or you're gonna crash the thing lol it is a beautiful car he seems like a nice guy but yes there actually is a big difference if you ever get a chance to ride in a street car with that kind of power you will see. When you mash the gas with street tires and 700+how they don't stop spinning till you let off the gas

Now think of a severe thunderstorm with weather warnings, and lightning strikes close enough that you can hear the crackle, and then the clap of thunder rattles the windows in the house so hard you duck for cover, that's the difference,

Just for reference, I have a 72 with a gm 502 in it. 450 to the wheels honestly would be the most.

Yeah that looks like an edelbrock carb on top of a performer rpm. I would say 500-550 maybe if the cam and valve train can take it up to 5800. That carb is really holding the engine back about 20-30hp. FYI this is still a ton of power for a skinny tire non-traction device Nova.
