Donnie Vie - Bridge Over Troubled Water 

Donnie is one of the most underrated vocalists from that generation. Now while I am a massive fan of the whole glam, hair metal, whatever you wanna call it genre, I will be the first to admit a lot of talented musicians never got the credit they deserved because many just saw that kind of music as fun throwaway music. A few have transcended the genre, but way too many just got written off as being "from that dead music scene that was killed by grunge". Donnie is one of the most emotive singers and song writers bar none.

So sorry to hear about your feelings of emptiness some time ago. I hope you can always remember how much we love to hear you sing and play. You have been my favorite local music hero for many years now and I am so glad you were born. Thank you ...Music and God fill my needs. Enuff z Nuff best 80s and 90s band to me...

Such a beautiful version of this song. I've been a fan for many years. I had the opportunity to meet Donnie briefly in Dallas many years ago. Such a gracious and nice guy. I was already a fan when I met him, but that day solidified my thoughts of him and I still have the CD he gave me.

My mother loved this song. She passed away unexpectedly and I've been having a really really hard time with it. Thank you for this 💗

He has touched so many people's hearts throughout his life and brought so much happiness and joy WITH HIS GOD GIVEN TALENT ! ...Donnie is a true gifted musician ..I'm sure he could of just thrown the towel in and walked away from lack of success and money but realized he wouldn't be happy not sharing and giving and couldn't stop if he wanted to...My brother.. ,,This is also the power of God leading you in his direction ,I hope you are aware of it ..If not in this life there are much greater things awaiting you from God !,,,,
