@@christopherallen9580 And saying "let's hear your version" implying that you know I can't do better, and saying that just because i can't, i don't deserve to have an opinion is like me telling Mozart that he can't play violin so he can't tell me my playing isn't good. That's like saying Gordon Ramsay can't bake so he can't tell me my cake is bland. That argument is invalid and isn't a good one to use. You clearly are blinded by nostalgia and have to except that he is out of tune. NOw if he wasn't sure this would be great, really accurate but Elvis wasn't out of tune and didn't sing like he's kind of tone deaf so I'll leave you with that.
Nobody is blinded by nostalgia Donnys on pitch here almost spot on 100 percent here throughout its just not the best live recording but very impressive Elvis impersonation even if you sync it next to Elvis live which with this song is remarkable , very few can do it so accurately Its not about opinions if you are still hearing something different from others you need to perhaps step back and think about your own music ability perhaps upload your version or put this through Ambleton pitch correction software to check your pitch recognition If you CAN do better than this live of course you will be up there with the very top covers and it would be silly to keep your version from the world 😉
@@antsection27b3 ok I don’t know if you aren’t a musical person or something but people will tell you if you’re not in tune pretty rudely aswell. And he is pretty off pitch. Very flat. Just check the pitch with a tuner. He wayyyyyy off. It’s definitely not me. And it’s not the recording that’s the problem that’s not how that works. It is accurate just off pitch. My musical ability isn’t some superpower. It’s easy to tell when there are 2 separate notes. He’s like a semitone or 2 off. It’s so obvious. And he’s rushing a bit. If you can’t tell the difference that’s on you and that means you might be tone deaf or something.
