“Music through the ages” showed how well the brothers could handle funk and it’s a very technical song. It definitely showcases their talent as musicians. It’s also one of the best “live” performances featuring all of the original brothers… not long before things changed. Nothing against Marie and Jimmy, but this is what I picture when I think of “The Osmonds.”

All the Osmond's are the most enthusiastic performers in the history of man kind with the possible exception of James Brown. Cause that man had enthusiasmist ever. But still that's great.

Music through the ages was never released anywhere but here that I'm aware of. I showed it to Merrill at a gt and he said something like, "I haven't ever seen this." (since they made it) The only other song I know of was one from the cartoon. Getcha goin my way may be what it's called. I know it was released much later in the 2000's on the album cant get there without you with Jimmy. I once asked Wayne at another gt, and he said something like, "There is lots of great, unreleased, original music."

Music Through The Ages, I've Got The Spirit, and Carnival should have been released as singles or B-sides.
