Donny Osmond gives exclusive interview to WOUB's Ian Saint ahead of Ohio tour dates

KETTERING, Ohio (WOUB) - Donny Osmond is taking his Las Vegas residency on the road. He's bringing the show to Ohio later this month, first to Kettering's Fraze Pavilion on July 26 and then to MGM Northfield Park on July 28.
Ahead of those performances, Osmond made time to speak with WOUB's Ian Saint about bringing his full Las Vegas residency production to two regions of the Buckeye State, his 60-year career in show business, and why Ohio holds a special place in the Osmond's rise to fame.

By far the best in the business - LEGENDARY! Donny is the energizer bunny super performer. My favorite of all of his songs is "In It For Love." SO SEXY!!!!!

Let's hear it Ian! What happened at the show? That would be a dream come true for me as I have been a huge fan for 52 years now as I bought the "One Bad Apple" single as a kid in 1971. Heck, I would settle for just being able to see a show, but I am in flyover country where few entertainers visit.

@@iansaint - That is SO cool he sang "Sunshine Rose"! I have a few items that are fairly rare also. His first solo record called "Sweet And Innocent" from 1971 had a limited edition picture sleeve that came with the 45. I even have 45s from before "One Bad Apple" (before they began a major sensation). Unfortunately, I am handicapped and cannot travel. Otherwise, I would be the first in line for his Vegas show. Thanks so much for replying. I live through the eyes and experiences of others. I really appreciate it.
