@@AzureSpike In the beginning I wasn’t used to the environment, it helped me see boxes and cave spots quicker. Ik there are green smoke markers at the end but I get lost easily lol. The unlimited battery is really useful there
Pdg aka prisoner diving gear has a shotgun shell pointed at you, that can be triggerd by hq, mostly when your out of bounds. the good folk or what ever that thing is was triggering your pdg to go off
After you take the Crystal: all of the entities being freed from containment: all of them having a meltdown that you took the Crystal then deciding to come whenever they want also creepy music that’s causing that shotgun Shell in your suit to possibly be activated:
The first time I got to these end rooms, it was a lot more stressful because I was navigating them without a flashlight the entire time. I still managed to beat the run somehow
@@charisant You mean completely? Or just around you? Because in any dark game if you put the graphics at 1 the darkness will be reduced, and your character will produce a bit of light around it, making it easier
heres a tip: in the ridge (god damn that part i hate it) the entities will spawn in a certain time span, which can include pandemoniums or other annoying ones out there, when one passes through, go into the next room, and then wait for another.
The green things name is chainsmoker and whenever it spawns it makes it easier for you to get kicked out of it which is why you need to usually wait until it’s in the room with you it’s also very slow
For the Ridge i would use Deaf Mode it is useful for knowing what the Angler/Monster is. Normal Angler .. and squiddles: white/grey Pandy/pandemonium: red Pinkie: pink (obvi) Froger: brownish orange? Chain smoker: green Idk anymore.
hand crank flashlight is definitely the best thing in the last 15 doors cuz you probably too focused on hiding and trying to find keycard edit: i change my mind its the flash beacon cuz you can cover a larger area to find lockers and it has more flashes then there are doors in the ridge
Nah, flash beacon is (if your talking about ridge) cause you need to lock in on the entities sound cause they have no indicators besides that, and the cranking would get on the way
Yup, my first death was the PDG and it was funny because the guy was like, "we remove a few black lines per death" but I got to read the full file lol. Also gave a compliment because we already talked and said it was impressive.
I WOULDVE TAKEN A WHOLE HIATUS FROM PRESSURE IF I SPENT THE LAST 2 HOURS GETTING THERE JUST TO DIE AT THE PART WHERE YOU CANT REVIVE AND SEBASTIAN SAYS “womp womp.”
Tip : use your flash beacon once at the start of a new room for every ridge door, since the ridge has 15 doors you can safely use it each time, even 5 extra incase your disoriented. Using it at the start of the new room makes you more familiar with your surroundings and ensures a locker that you can use when there's an angler coming by. ALWAYS take your time in the ridge, but don't take too long. ( you should always get out of the ridge as soon as possible ) one strategy / a well known one is to get to a new room, flash beacon, and camp at a locker to check if an angler will come. Tip for ridge eyefestation : if you get him, it can be deadly if there's Ana angler. FIRST check if the coast is clear, then clear that room with eyefestation. Tip for the good people in the ridge : the doors that have Z-96 (the good people) will have a slight glow under the door. Important tip : DO. NOT. USE. LANTERNS. Always use a flash beacon only in the ridge if you want to be safe from squiddles. Use a normal light like the flashlight / hand cranker, just avoid aggroing squiddles. blacklight IS the best for the ridge, but it's not very far ranged, and it has a short battery life span. The flash beacon is better overall.
Yo I started playing pressure a month ago and got my first win about 2-3 days ago. The day I got my win, me and my friend discovered so much. Write that almost every game was the same. For 45 deaths straight, everything was the same. Then one day, I got better at it and reached the “mini boss” at door 60ish. My friend taught me how to do it. Not bad. But then whilst playing alone, I found the let-vand zone. I had never heard of it and died the first time I encountered it. Afterwards, i passed it the second time, without any tutorials or even knowing what to do. Then here is the weird thing. All within 3 days, after a month of being normal, I discovered- Styx- My wife- Gauntlet- Mr.lopee- New hiding places- Beat the game- Multi monster- A room full of keycards- (tables everywhere with keycards everywhere and in every drawer)- Etc- I have encountered all those entities except for the multi-monster. I want to encounter the multi-monster and die by it to have its file
Those speakers (lore-wise) play at the specific frequency that makes your diving gear explode. Basically, don't stand near them for too long or you'll explode and perish guaranteed (unless you want the badge for dying like that ig) And like someone else mentioned, you don't exactly *need* to wait for the screaming to stop and start moving from a locker during an Angler attack. You can get out and start moving as soon as the Angler passes over you (unless it's Froger, who sounds different and will instead pass over you three times total) Unfortunate ending, but you did fairly there!
@@theYsShorts precisely what the others said. If it doesn't sound like an Angler but it's moving just as fast as one, then it's likely Froger! Still kinda tricky to only rely on sound because there's, like, six different monsters with each distinct noises, but if you play enough, you can get the hang of it and recognize them on sound alone! If it's still tricky, maybe consider checking out the Urbanshade wiki (NOT the Fandom one). It has most of the approaching and close noises for the Anglers and Pandemonium, so
Oh man, it really hurts when you are in a bad spot to try to dodge an entity (mostky the Anglers). Even when dying near the end, I get that pain so much... 👍 X-X
"Bro shut up i gotta see the sound man" XD also, if you find a blacklight its really op cause it doesnt agro squiddles when you shine it on him and it is just a really good light source.
Sometimes you can hide in some corners from the Angler and Frog but sometimes you can't, I believe it depends on how big the room is. Similar situation with Pandemonium where if you hide behind something in a very big room he won't see you but it's not the same case for smaller rooms
@@aceofpurity That makes sense, but still that would still depend on having a bigger room because enemies like Pandemonium check every single room so to stay out of their path would require a very big room.
@Mellaya_Creations pand doesn't check every room. If he sees you he'll leave his path to get you. But the other anglers might see you but if you aren't in the room of their flight path (a hallway extended off it in a corner) they can't get you
@@aceofpurity Really? He always seems to go off the path and enter rooms even when I'm hidden. Maybe I'm just confusing Pandemonium with one of the others, idk
Yo tip! Turn on deaf mode and definitely get close to some lockers after u enter a room then wait until the screen started showing this glowly thingy then hide in the locker (the glowly thingy indicate an angler or a variant of it is close same goes to pandemonium but it’s red)
The beeping was from the speaker, dude. If that had continued, the frequency would hve detonated your diving suit. "You left the death zone" refers to how you exited the range of the speaker.
here's what i do for the ridge: i use the hand cranked flashlight up until the purple keycard door (that's when they start spawning) and beyond that i use battery powered flashlights because the hand cranked one makes too much noise and i usually have 5 batteries (and i also stock up on medkits and codebreaker as you shouldn't waste time on keycard doors) i also try to hurry as much as possible to minimise encounters (you don't need to do this but it's much nicer) (if you haven't heard something for too doors then slow down and listen and keep close to lockers but still keep going oh and fake doors have glows under them as I've heard (lil tip: if you see the airlock immediately go for it because it despawns the monsters)
4:17 Close call The puddle on the floor means that had a void mass in it. If you can't find a locker or off room, figure out where the exit door is, then try to find the corner farthest from it. Chances are the angler won't path all the way around the room to the exit. You stood, pretty much in the middle of the room, close to the exit.
You can hear him or you can see him inside and its not that hard to see it so ye no one will think about the puddle at the moment but more about looking if he is inside or not
Cool, no one said you should ignore the eyes or breathing, but recognizing that one thing c a n be life or death. At worst, nothing changes, you know it's there anyways. At best you notice before hopping in.
@@mitsu_killerfr womp womp, that is a really good tip cos Angler's detection is a line of sight but within an AOE, so using corners of rooms ensure you live against any angler variant. pandemonium on the other hand
*The song that comes in my head when I am in a room with no lockers in sight and the angler fish coming :* "from a scale from one to ten my friend you're f-*
I’ll make it simple the monster will make a broadcast the random sounds u hear in the ridge this will make ur gear beep when it beeps too fast the monster activates ur gear and makes it explode if people try to run and or not listen to what the directors say or hold a gun/weapon they will be allowed to use the gear and explode it that’s why it’s there and why u can’t pick up the weapons in Scp room(or the big gates) so the monster takes advantage of that and makes the gear explode by the broadcast when it says u exited the death zone it means u exited the broadcasts range
Little tip, if there's no lockers nearby try backing yourself into a corner thats extremely far from the path angler takes, preferably behind something as well just in case it's pandemonium. Anglers are blind so they won't directly go for you, you gotta be careful with pande though he can see ya lol
I was doing the “this badge sucks” and we were at the ridge and we were supposed to hide like at the edge of this object and some people hid next to it and pandemonium came and KILLED THEM
2:00 always keep your *EYES OUT FOR SOUND* Ingles 🔥🔥🥶 3:30 the entity you encountered is commonly called the radio or something like that and yes it does kill if you stay in range for long enough but the death timer goes back to zero if you leave its range (theres also a achievement for dying to one)
Tip if your dying at door 100 by angler [ALWAYS BE NEAR A LOCKER] [ONCE YOU ENTER A ROOM GO TO THE NEAREST LOCKER LISTEN FOR THE SOUND AND HIDE] That how I won on solo
Bro i got to door 101 for the first time just for me to get scared of the weird coloured statues and get PDG death because i still didnt know if they were a lethal company coil head type entity
Yeah, the text can be confusing at times, but it’s meant to keep you on your feet. Can’t have an obvious sign that you’re safe, when you’ve just went though about 114 doors of increasing danger. It’s also why I stay by lockers in the ridge for about 15 seconds before and after I hear the angler. Chainsmoker is not kind.
Womp womp well sebastian its right he hide on the worst way he could choice he just needed to be on that corner no on the middle or anything that is far away doesn't about safe spots n-n btw pro tip (run 3 doors) and take a locker so you have to face less spawns of anglers btw if u know chainsmoker spawned very early until it moves run the doors until you can't outrun the chain XD
I got to room 100 a couple days ago and died because the Eyefestation’s teal light effect made it so I didn’t notice the lights flickering and I didn’t have headphones on so I didn’t hear the screaming until I was a bit into the next room but I didn’t have a close enough locker to jump into in time so I died to Pandemonium :[
don’t give up, also if eyefestation comes make sure the variants and pandemonium if he isn’t, at least just came and if they didn’t wait in the other room for an angler to pass, but also look out for wall dweller
i know this video was four weeks ago but if it helps: whenever i get chainsmoker i've found it useful to time entering the locker right when the screen starts to shake!!
