Toy boy is one of my favorites though, maybe it’s not everybody’s cup of tea but I definitely don’t get a “sour rose” scent. It’s a deep rose with spices and some slight freshness

@pazzolechheb5445 I do not have the batch number anymore. I have no idea what I did with the box, actually lol. Honestly I am assuming I have last year's batch since tt is being discontinued. I bought mine on Wal-Marts website. Around spring last year. The silage is really good in my honest opinion with projection below average once I first bought it. I let it maserate for a couple weeks and it's amazing. Longevity is a good 5 hours. It is a good parfum. I'm only wearing it since it's winter time. Mother of my child is only one I am trying to impress also lol. Cheers.

Don’t avoid club de Nuit intense man it’s a cheapie that’s a masterpiece. Michella is a great source for information on fragrance but she’s in the minority when it comes to disliking that fragrance 😊.

Boss Bottled Elixir reminds you of Interlude? Interesting, to me it opens like Sauvage Elixir with resins added, and it dries down heavily as a designer version of L'air du desert Marocain. Wonderful fragrance and my favourite of last year's releases

Hi Michella! On the try before you buy advice, there's an opportunity to do a video on how to properly try a fragrance. I've made the mistake before of buying 1ml samples and basing a purchase largely off of the paper strip scent and maybe one wearing on my wrist. I'm finding out that a fragrance needs multiple wearings to properly evaluate it, and that would require a larger spray bottle decant. Tom Ford's Black Orchid Parfum smells amazing, but some days my nose just can't make sense of it and I get varnish or candied brussel sprouts. Yuck! So I think I'm gonna try frags in rounds - round 1 being a 1 ml sample on skin, then if I like it, order a 5ml or 9ml sample to give it multiple wearings. If it works most of the time, then I can spring for the full bottle.

I agree with EVERYTHING on your list except for CDNIM, I got compliments with it, then gave it to my dad cause I bought the limited edition which is a lot more refined, and he also recieved awesome reactions. And to my surprise, every single person who smelled CDNIM in the opening absolutely loved it, not a single person found it off-putting. And L'Aventure in my opinion smells like a synthetic mess, I wouldn't wear that, blind bought it and regreted it.

I was afraid Dior Sauvage would be on this list. I had the EDP for 6 months and didn't like it. However after actually wearing it I noticed that I loved the way I smelled. After a few hours it just made me smile smelling it on myself.

Hello Curly, thanks for all your videos. So I mentioned buying club de nuit intense men. With the mistaken videos of taking the other Curly’s advice. So I smelled the cologne your right it’s a bit of a weird lemon smell at first so it has really good spray and lasts all day. The smell I didn’t mind too much definitely not the best though. The main problem is that I tried it for two days straight and both days it made me feel slightly high and it gave me a headache both days not a crazy intense one but enough that I am sadly not going to wear it again. So now I have a nearly full bottle of a cologne I can’t wear and don’t know what to do with? You were definitely right, I am not going to listen or watch the other Curly’s videos. I am going to make a list of your recommendations and find the and smell them and decide what to purchase. Here is my question for you and all the people that follow your videos. I am looking for recommendations for good budget or inexpensive colognes for now to get a few more colognes before I get some more expensive ones so probably in the $60 and below price range. Currently some of the ones I have and like are Este Lauder Beyond Paradise, Nautica Voyage, a scent bird small vial of Versace Eros, and I bought my wife Libre Yves Saint Laurent (which I find intoxicatingly good). I am a beginner and not fully sure what colognes or smells I like. I do know I like vanilla, melon and maybe some sweeter scents. I like the freshness of Nautica Voyage. What could everyone recommend to check out based on what I have said please? Thanks for any assistance you may all give. Also Curly you have definitely gained a continued fan. Girly listen i wear Santal 33 and its true, its not that sexy. But i still get compliments, thats not saying much i get compliments if i eat a bag of garlic and spray nothing at all. Anyway i wear it to places you DONT want any panties to drop: to grandpa at the oldfolkshome, the hospital, the dentist, stadskantoor, to my accountant, i can go on. I always have stuff like Narciso Rodriguez or JPG but im not looking for that type of energy when im visiting grandma. Nice channel, greetz ;)

I agree with Michella on Layton. The current batches on Layton is weak that I would recommend the clones more these days. Many would argue about maceration but if the clones able to get it right off the gate at a similar quality with a cheaper price, why I need to wait and spend more on the OG? I agree that Ombre Leather EDP does need a character to wear. And that’s where the Parfum version exists. I feel the addition of powdery notes tames the DNA and make it wearable for many.

*I bought Paco Raban 1 million and Azzaro Most Wanted today and trust me, here in UAE, you can smell the same either from Sudanese, Ethiopian or Nigerian people. They use these kind of perfumes a lot. For me which makes me feel good and fresh is David Off Cool Water, Aventis Creed, Gucci and Brut. They are fantastic and now you must understand what kind of smell they have so please make a video of some more perfumes which smells like them. Thank you.*

yes theyre blue fragrances. her description of ambassador is not what it got from it though, to me its sauvage but more smooth with lots of added mango. its reeeally good its just pricey

I have 2 different batches of the new formulation of Layton and while it’s not “beast mode” I think the remarks of “the performance is shit now” is absolutely insane. It’s an 8-10 hour fragrance, and projects for me longer than just about any other edp I own. I actually think it smells better now because the menthol note is more subdued and the blend is more rounded. I agree that it’s disappointing that almost every PDM got diluted, they all smell and perform great still.

First, I love you.. like, a lot..!!! 😍… however I have to disagree with you a bazillion percent ability CDNIM… That is BY FAR my most complimented fragrance (and I have over 100) … and not just basic compliments but I get really really nice compliments… one time I wore it for 2 weeks straight and I counted the compliments.. in 2 weeks I got 19 compliments… sooooo 🤷🏻‍♂️.. I believe it’s still worth its weight in gold 😉.. love you:.!!! 😍

I have some of the larger samples from Le Labo. These samples are from 2014 or 2015. With Santal 33 I don't get pickles etc. What I get is an amped-up version of Floris's Santal in some ways. To be clear, I don't own a full bottle of either. I have a large sample of Satnal 33 and Floris's Discovery set. I don't dislike them, I just don't own them. Why, well I have Red Meat Mysore sandalwood from the 1970's. I also have 1,000-year-old santal album roots. 30-year-old Black Meat Mysore. This does not make me an expert, or a snob, and I have learned to separate modern sandalwood based perfumes from vintage ones, as well as actual Mysore sandalwood. The problem I have with Le Labo is the price point, especially these days. You can get an artisanal sandalwood that uses Mysore for what Le Labo goes for. I haven't sampled Toy Boy, but I do love a good rose. My favorite is the Taif Rose. It's lemony. The only aspect I don't like about a rose being used aromatically is in those inexpensive candles. What a headache. BTW, not a fan of BR540. It just doesn't work well on my skin.

I just received my Lattafa Zanibar from Amazon. To me first spray was a little alcohol with coconut water smell with a little sweetness I was not impressed. But I did get YSL Myself and Givenchy Gentleman wow best smelling . Thank you for all your content I'm now going to get Ginvenchy PI .

The only one I can't agree with is Tom Ford Ombré Leather. My favorite leather fragrance. You need to be the right guy in the right circumstances for it. Not for suit and tie people. You need to be dressed for the fragrance.

Profumum Roma has great Favs. I’ve Acqua E Zucchero and it’s my one of my signature frag. In my wishlists are Sorriso, Patchouli and Acqua Viva. Sorriso smells like vanilla pudding for me when u cook it freshly with chocolate on the top😅 BTW my SOTD: Guerlain Santal Royal

Hi Michella. I always welcome your suggestions about perfumes, because I consider that we agree quite enough on tastes and, furthermore, in my environment girls do not usually give up their opinion about a perfume and they always prefer to be politically correct. In that sense, your counseling is really useful. On the other hand, a perfume that I can't stand (at all) is Santal33 (Le Labo). I consider that this is the frag with the worst sex appeal in the world, specially on a woman's skin. It works like water on fire in a romantic encounter (you can understand what i'm saying).
