The problem with knowing English but working in Germany is that your colleagues will either not talk to you due to the language barrier or will talk to you in English so that they can practice it. If you want to learn the language you need to actively go for it outside of work, which would mean that your 8 hour work day will probably grow to 10 or more plus weekends. Very good video with sound advice. I will add something on the topic of employer's reference. Your employer has to give it you if you request it. Many companies view such a document as part of the package and your next candidacy may get dismissed just for being incomplete. I don't know what the time limit is between a formal request for this document and the end of your employment but there is a (take with a grain of salt) 3 months period for the employer to respond. In addition you can actually sue the company for bad reference. Note that the whole reference is BS, since the HR has its own lingo to make it more difficult to sue the company for ruining your career chances with a poor reference but on the other hand you can (as long as you don't claim you did things you actually didn't, e.g. you worked there as a cleaner but want the reference to say you were the CEO) go after the company if you feel like it with a high rate of success. The unemployment help has several restrictions. The three most noticeable ones are that you are blocked for (I think) 3 months if you quit your job (the state assumes that you have quit your job because you have another one and not because you want money from them, so it makes sense). The period of receiving such money is limited. Last but not least, you have to actively show to the government official handling your case that you are looking for a job. This can be annoying if you just need a breather of a few months before going into the next gig.

Salaam Ahsan! Can an employer terminate the employment contract on the last day of probation without serving the notice period. They will need to send a termination letter on the last day of probation to the home address which will take 1 or 2 days.

I have a permanent contract, and now my employer wants to change our shift plans. I have not signed for those shift times, but if I'm not okay with them, what should I do? If I resign, will I lose all my unemployment benefits? I'm not breaking any of the conditions, my employer is changing them without my consent! It is a giant company by the way. Could I negotiate with them for a compensation, like they are firing me?

Hey there, If its a big company then they should have some SOPs assigned for such situations. The best thing would be to discuss this with your supervisor first and then with the HR department. If someone was hired from Ghana and brought to Germany. Then dismissed before the end of this trial period (for closure of the work site), but due to the probationary period not being completed, he is one of the only ones not to have been renewed in another position, knowing that only has a 6 month visa. Is there insurance, because having all left for 4 months (this is an international company)

Unfortunately the company has the complete to fire/not renew the contract in the Probation period in this situation.

Hello, I moved to Germany with my wife, on Blue Card (my wife is still searching jobs) in September 2023 to work with a Software Company. My contract was terminated on completion of probation period. My Unemployment benefits process is already In Progress (I worked in Poland for a year prior to moving Germany). I have received an email from Ausländerbehörde to either Update New Employer or File for Job Seeker Visa. Is it the normal procedure that my Blue Card visa will have to be converted to Job Seeker?

As your Blue Card was attached with your job, it is no longer valid as you no longer have that job. In this case the Ausländerbehörde generally gives 3 months to search for a job. So in your case its also quite normal

Once you get the Zusatzblatt with details of an employer written on it. You will have to contact the Auslanderbehorde to change it.

It depends on your contract, if there are performance based conditions then yes. There may be other conditions like the financial health of the company which may cause a reduction of salary/work hours.

Some foreigners offices can create an issue but generally it shouldn't be a problem as the required period to get the PR is over and the application is submitted.

If you have a proper contract then your employer HAS to pay your salary even if your company has less than 10 Employees. What does your employer say about why they are not paying your salary?

@@ahsanfinance I have a proper contract Until May . In month of November I asked him for vacation in January he said that time yes..I book everything .And when january came he told me suddenly No .. I had everything planned. That's why I told him that I am going to resign. My resignation period is 15 days in my contract.And then he upset. He said Go . He didn't accept my resignation. But he told me he will not give my salary . He didn't pay me 2 month salary december and january. I didn't did anything wrong in my work place. I have good image with colleagues . Everyone knows everything how I was worked there and how my behavior is. What should I do? I must call indian embassy or Agentur fur Arbeit. Or . I can not leave my salary. Its 2 months Help me please And tell me

You should contact a lawyer. You have a very strong case if things happened as you have written, either way the employer cannot block salary payment without concrete proof of wrong doing.
