Same thing happened to me doing paused squats, everything felt really heavy afterwards
@ryder6070
@ryder6070 Год назад
You should feel less fatigue after a pause squat b/c it's less than your max. This is assuming you have a solid bottom position. Might not be the case for beginners. However for beginners, this is not CNS fatigue (usually). It is just more DOMS from an unfamiliar exercise,..pausing too high for example. You should be able to chill in bottom position for time "sit on your tendons, not your muscles" Point is less weight generally means less neural fatigue. good day sir

This happened only 3 days ago to me, crazy. I was doing 80kg cleans for multiple triples and it felt nice and consistent. Do hard deadlifts and next session 80kg feels like a max clean, everything felt super slow. It's very interesting seeing these training effects happen first hand

Gabriel! Always a source of wisdom; helpful for someone like me who doesnt have a coach.. from what ive seen/heard on youtube, i thought that the protein window after a workout was a myth.. are you saying that the 30mins window works for you, or did you get this from a source?

Intr-un video recent zice-ai ca nu bei proteine ci doar vitamina D. In acest video zici sa nu treaca juma de ora dupa antrenament, te referi la mancare ori protein shake?

Hi Gabriel, was having this exact issue. I enjoy deadlifting but found that going above 90% for reps would always tire me out for the next 2-3 days of training. I have since removed them entirely from my program in favour of more accessory pulls (snatch/clean pulls, panda pulls, etc), my question is do you think it is advisable to cut deadlifts completely or should I find time for them at lower % sets?
@greatestGuy6969
@greatestGuy6969 Год назад
Try this:Do only Singles for deadlifts.Not max singles,but singles above 65% of one rep max

people usually deadlift much more than they can squat.
@ryder6070
@ryder6070 Год назад
normal people tend to deadlift more than they can squat. much more balanced numbers for weightlifters. Many reasons why. In short, It's not a traditional DL. It's a clean pull. Maybe you already knew this but anyways, goods day to you sir
