This scene means SO much to me. This is the moment where Peyton Sawyer became my favorite character on one tree hill. When i first started watching One Tree Hill, I didn't appreciate her character as much as I appreciated the other ones. But each time I rewatched, I began to understand and relate to her character more and more. She has made mistakes, yes, but so has every other character. Peyton Sawyer honestly means so much to me. She is such an inspiration, I love her so much. I think every teenager can relate to her. She is just this girl that believes music and art can change the world and she stands up for what she believes in and she goes after what she wants and I just can't even explain how much I love her character.
This was back in the mid 2000's so it makes sence why she was a hated character. If this show was on TV now she would be very popular and much more accepted by viewers. She was just so ahead of her time.
Joshua Serrato I have always loved and adored the character of Peyton Sawyer, but out of curiosity, why do you think she’d be so beloved by many now? Thanks! ❤️
@@hofhofandaway I’m sorry, I am just now seeing this. Peyton was a feminist and an activist who stood for equality. Many of her traits are seen in modern shows and audiences love women like her in today’s television. Back in the 2000’s I remember people really hated her because she was “annoying” and whiny. In reality her character helped make women activists become a norm and she showed throughout the series that she was a strong woman. She was definitely not the first of her kind, but her character was harshly hated by fans when the show was out. Her point of view from then has become important today.
I love Peyton. I don’t understand why people hate her and call her whiny. Peyton be going through a lot of shit and her friends be acting oblivious to it. I also think Brooke did Peyton wrong first.
@xMemPhiSRaiNeSx I stopped watching OTH when peyton and Lucas left, they were my favorite part of the show and I really didn't want to watch it without them because it wouldn't be the same.
