Could you go more in depth on how potency and resistance work and especially for pvp? For example in pvp You gain a flat 35% reduction from resistance against players, why would you stack more resistance, It won't increase the reduction!?

Legit. How can ruby be ranked number two when you can't put it in an alternative slot to damage. Really potentially making it one of the worst.

@@VeiledShot Ok so want a more in depth fine, any of these stats at base line are good. Damage is explainable just alone without having to mention it, Life in most cases is better off getting in your paragon trees. Even if you are able to get a level 5 gem for life it isn't going to be a large benefit vs having damage, Armor and Armor Pen again are fantastic it isn't just for You getting Crit and you doing crit damage. It allows the player to not be hit as hard if they were at the base line, and allows the player to deal normal damage at baseline with armor pen. Depending on how much below you are you will either be hit for 1.5 times the damage up to twice the damage, If armor pen is low you will do 1.5 times less to half the damage. Never in any part did i hear anything that it is best to be at baseline for any of the stats, I was just trying to point that out I was not trying to say that you didn't mention them in the context of pvp but i suppose it came off that way if so then i am sorry i didn't make it more clear.

@@DragonCaller1 It won't matter in the case that I mentioned. I said that those stats mean nothing if you're fighting whales, because you will never be able to close the gap. And I did say that you get value from them by having slightly more than your opponent. By the same logic, you would want to push the stat close to your opponent if you are below.
