TJ, I cannot thank you enough for what you have done for preserving music 🎵 especially Doo Wop! My late husband and I went to several of the WQED sponsored concerts at The Benedum! Most memorable was the one that lasted three days in May a long time ago: Friday, Saturday and Sunday!!!!’ We were lucky enough to be moved from the balcony to the Main Floor for the third day! We loved each and every one of the 70 acts! Magnificent memories of dances from junior high through college were brought back! I own all the videos so I can relive these memories over and over, thanks to you! They mean so much more, now that my husband, the love of my life, has passed. I appreciate everything you have done! We were two retired teachers still learning about this fantastic history of Doo Wop music! Thanks for these interviews!Still learning and recalling!!!!!!
Damn. I wish I could have got to meet that guy. But he outlived my mother. So he had a good, long life. Too bad he also outlived doowop and a lot of other great music.
