I mean their stuff is nice, but you can get glass cloches for 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of the same style DOOA. It's the typical ADA thing to do, brand it, and charge way too much (and I have a lot of ADA stuff).
@@GreenAquaShopwell maybe for some design but for example, other brands have years of advance regarding wrgb led , dosing pump units and app or WiFi control for example , Ada wanna keep it straight and simple but we’re in 2024, ppl wanna have a bit more for their bucks than just simple (but beautiful) glass design. I’m thinking about the new mini Na too, it’s just a re-use of already existing Dooa products and will be sold over 300€ in Europe which is simply too much for an fancy 4 liters tank IMO. ✌🏻
Why doesnt any of these companies have the top/front with a bit of ventilation? It can be achieved,no problem. Why would anyone want to see the front of the glass full of condensation and fog?? You NEED front air flow to see the plants. 🤦🏽♂️
Good afternoon, for 3 months I started again with the subject of aquariums. I love your channel very much. After a long time having Guppys, now I would like to start with a community with many plants and fish of South American origin such as Angel Fish, Ramirezis, Otocinclus and Coridoras and Tetra Neon. What TDS parameters do you recommend?
The only time I get excited about DOOA is when ADA has the pop up store ADA Labs and the best way to do a display is to make a lot of them , and they have mastered the art of marketing the events every time!!!
Only making it bioactive with e.g. springtales would be hard since they would fall out of the bottom. I have noticed my springtails are even present in drainage layer.
