Recently I found a piece of a driftwood at the bottom of a massive box filled with all sorts of wood at my local aquarium store, it is driftwood or mangrove (brown-red with many caves and holes etc) but it is a 20c20 piece and it reminds me of Starship Enterprise - no joke, for real - given it is like round and has a tail piece that like a scorpion tail curls upwards and … very cute, guess nobody never bought it not knowing what to do with it; I now see this video and think I buy a same size tank and use it like glued to the back wall and fill the gaps/holes and cavities with buce’s and only gravel and few bigger boulders and Dennerle Mekong sand .. I have a Blau curved 28l tank sitting enpty but it is also too small in that tank.. really clueless as what to do with my Starship wood

Nice setup, but how it will go for a long term... Without a lid and moisture, most of those plants will dry out. What is your suggestion for daily/weekly maintenance?

Some cubes that I have created run for more than 12 months ;) Light and daily maintenance is mentioned in the description :)

@@greenslovaktherapy Ah I didn't read description, sorry :) I'm running same cube but some sort of paludarium with sand in foreground and filled with 3-4cm of water (beside stones, wood and soil). After several months of experimenting I finally found out the best position for lid cover in order to keep balance between moisture and fresh air. Now I just have to fill vaporizing water once per week, and doing regular maintenance every two or three weeks (no daily water-spay). But failed with setup very familiar like yours, I didn't realize that "less is more" is a golden rule with daily spray dose :( That's why I asked for advice. And once more, very nice composition. Thank you for your answer :)

is this meant as a terrarium only? I filled mine up with water for a small planted aquarium (no livestock) but realized the water pressure from above might break the seals at the bottom eventually...

It 20cm cube, but actual size is 19x19x17cm... So it's less then 8 lit (less then 2 gal)

Its cibe 20x20x20 :) almost 2 gal :)
