Randy Scott, the CEO of Art Data, was actually a musician, and recorded the soundtrack alongside his band. So yeah, this goofy ahh Doom port has some deep lore. A shame he's locked up now due to diddling prepubescents, truly a waste of talent.

Well, the song references Donna Jackson, also nicknamed "The Id Mom," and she was basically there to help keep the office that the boys at Id worked at functional. So she was literally "To the rescue," whenever they needed her.
