Doom is a 2005 Sci-Fi Horror film, loosely based on the Doom series of video games. Taking place in the year 2046, we follow the Rapid Response Tactical Squad, a first-class military outfit sent to the Olduvai Research Facility on Mars where they encounter creatures mutated by an engineered 24th chromosome.

Destroyer was basically the biggest badass of the group, seeing as how he nearly took out a hell knight by himself as a human. Or at least put up the most fight. Without any guns. And a very small arena.

This is actually more like Doom 3. We see "grounded" main character, not magical fighter. Good adaptation for series? Hell no, good adaptation for Doom 3? acceptable level. Final scene was good.

The movie isnt so bad. As a mute protoganist, DOOM GUY gets more and more powerful, becoming a god because thats what you do in the game. As a STORY, they needed human interaction. so this was made.

I really loved this movie no matter what people said. This is one of the first Midnight movie i watch in Tv when i was a child 😂 I keep screaming when the Monster appear. And when Karl Urban Character Griim start doing the First Person Shooting scene is amazing 😁👍and also Rosamund Pike as Samantha is so beautifull 😁 (Sorry for my english.still learning)

Reaper is more like Doom guy which is just a super soldier like Master Chief or Captain America and less like the DoomSlayer since DoomSlayer is a actual God like a god of destruction or a god of war.

The writers of this movie didn't really think through how they were going to do Doom without actual demons very well. A lot of people in the real world have an extra chromosome - it's called Down's Syndrome.

I like and hate this movie at the same time I like some of the parts especially the 1st person moment and and some of the monsters do look sweet yet the rest of it not so much
