The truth of it is. . Dublin corporation wanted the Sheriff Street community out of there. . They knew it would take time but that didn't bother them. . They purposely suppressed new employment from coming into the area in order to keep the people down and in doing so would almost certainly run the area down. . It worked. .The corporation got the land and the rest is history. . The place is unrecognisable today with fancy building all over the place .. but in saying that. ..living conditions are a hell of a lot better today around the area. ..

2023 we have the makings of this happening again. Pent up human anger, trouble simpering until it explodes. Apartments are the one to watch. The new Tenements, Apartments. We are riding high in 2023 but the lows are not far behind. We have a two in one government, it's like jigs and reals. One steps in and one steps out again. Job's for the boy's.
