@DankMcSpank you never know tho since he done a similar thing with a remix of E1M1 (At DOOM's Gate) which he used in the showcase of DOOM 2016 but never got used in the final game
@@dowom1452 well that was a behind the scenes thing. ID originally said "no metal" which I guess at the time they had that version of the song with the trailer.
@@zipper978 I definitely think the feeling of "anger" is portrayed a lot better through Mick Gordon's tracks, and it's for a very particular reason: percussion emphasis. Yeah, it's basic, no one's going to deny that, but the feeling of anger and intensity is conveyed through the hard-hitting rhythm and beats of the song. Majesty and Decay is good, for certain (if not a little niche), but in terms of sheer intensity, this track and the DooM OST in general just hits a new level that a lot of other songs just really don't, in my personal opinion.
I don't know if you can crown a "best videogame soundtrack ever" but without a doubt in my mind no other soundtrack fits and perfectly compliments it's game like dooms.

Been looking for this track ever since it was used in the Battlemode trailer. This goes hard, gets me so pumped! Better hear this in the campaign this is so badass to not fit an epic fight/boss fight
