The downside of using Slayer's catalog of music would be the game having to rotate around those tracks to make the game, which could very much be to its detriment rather than its benefit. To put it simply, DOOM and DOOM II wouldn't be what they were if they solely selected Slayer's music to base the tracks off of.
In BrutalDoom2 v21, if you don't have the Rocket Launcher when you reach this level, no problem, the Shotgun it's somewhat stronger than it's assault counterpart when zoomed in.

They 'used' the drumb beat, and the main riff of that song. But they did that with alot of songs. Much of the doom soundtrack is taken/altered versions of alot of metal songs from the 80-90's.
