I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT THESE CREATURES YESTERDAY!! If these are the aggadon hunters, then these are the ones that were made into doom hunters AND if this is where they first show up, this is the unholy crusade 😁
@@AcidGlow ngl once I saw the title and thumbnail I clicked instantly since I was thinking about this yesterday lol I'd love to see designs for new and returning enemies. Maybe we'll see some with less cybernetics in them too 😁
@AcidGlow when you mentioned the agaddon I think it's wearing a pelt.The game is based on medieval times so I think it maybe killed a creature and wearing it's fur for warmth like a pelt
I also have a theory that the titan the dragon was shooting lava into in the DOOM The Dark Ages trailer is the same titan demon as the one in Argent D'nur in Doom Eternal, The one you see that has lost its legs and is hovering over the lava pit in the start of the level with lava dripping out of its eyes, i made a short video about it on my youtube channel
I wish he wasn't cybernetic for the second time around though. One of the things I wish to see is the completely non cybernetic versions of all the cyberdized demons. For example, the tyrant/cyber demon would be so cool if it had a completely fleshed out version. Something far more melee based and aggressive. I mean just imagine a tyrant chasing you around the map .
Aggadons were a powerful species native to Earth that pre-dated the dinosaurs millions of years ago. The remains of the Aggadons were excavated to create the Doom Hunters. Over 60 million years ago, the Argenta established a settlement in the polar region where the Hell Priests unearthed the remains of the Aggadons and deemed them suitable for reconstruction, becoming the subject of Cultist necro-regenerative bio-experimentation. The Aggadons were ceremoniously and systemically resurrected and rebuilt as Doom Hunters, serving as lethal hunters to battle the Doom Slayer and Night Sentinels during the Unholy Crusades on Argent D'Nur.
Im really excited to see what pre_order physical goodies come with this game . As much as id love a figure or dark ages doom guy, whay id REALLY love is a doom bible with text drawings etc. Something that would of been buried or destroyed
Two problems with the backstory: 1. There was complex life on the Earth 80 million years ago. 2. There weren't ice caps on the poles 80 million years ago.
Brother its just a game, that earth doesn't need to have the same story of our earth, they can do whatever they like with the story basically. as long as they haven't stated we "humans" set foot on earth at that time already.
I'm glad I'm not alone in noticing the Agaddon Hunter dueling the Slayer in the trailer. There are also at least two more interesting things: the Arachnotron is seen being flanked by two flying brain-like monsters. They are most lilely the natural version, before being turned into the cyborg we know. Also, after battling the Revenant, there's a human/sentinel riding a demon. You can see the human skin on his left arm before being killed. Additionally, the Imp has its original look and the Hell Knight still has the Doom 3 design.
@@colecaldwell4278, yes. I've seen that as well, but the general shape is almost identical. You can even see tiny arms/legs or some kind of appendages hanging beneath them. The overall similarity is too obvious to completely dismiss it based upon one detail like the single eye.
