44:36 Destiny has no reasons to fight to get her memories back because she should have alredy had them since her very first resurrection. Following the first Hellfire Gala, the Scarlet Witch upgraded the resurrection protocol on two fronts : Firstly by making the waiting room and bringing every mutant soul to ever exist in it to be placed in the bodies. Secondly by improving on the Cerebro mindfiles. That improvement was done by putting in every single mutant to ever exist and second of all by FIXING THE MIND of every mutant in it from every afflictions big or minor that could have been inflicted on them through mind alteration. Because Destiny was resurrected AFTER the first Hellfire Gala and underwent resurrection, she should have remembered the retcon. Same with Mystique, she should have remembered everything that transpired during the retcon with every death she had post the 1st Hellfire Gala. Them not remembering is a plothole because thos is the Scarlet Witch we are talking about who conjured entire lost minds out of nothing.

45:46 This gets even more frustrating because what Destiny has done to Mystique is worse than what Azazel ever did to her before he was retconned to have done absolutely nothing... And it was all for nothing because Nightcrawler was a pointless sacrifice to achieve whatever goal Destiny had in mind : His very existence actually jeopardizes any safe futures that would have been tarnished by Azazel taking over. Nightcrawler is the very thing Azazel has been needing this entire time to do any takeovers, both the first and the second : He needed a biological child with his teleportation abilities to even consider pulling it off. If Nightcrawler were to have lacked ANY of those things, Azazel couldn't have done any takeovers, let alone consider doing one. Remove Nightcrawler and there's no takeovers. This is why DoFP still happened without Azazel taking over even though Nightcrawler is one of the first mutants confirmed die in that future. He in fact dies shortly after Kelly's assassination (seen as recently as "DoFP : Doomsday" from 2023)... And DoFP happened because of Mystique and Destiny. Nightcrawler has a first confirmed death in 616 which was stopped by nobody and Mystique was even surprised it not only happened but that he came back to life from it. That death is the only reason Azazel could even try a takeover of the Afterlife. Then there's the fact each and every time Nightcrawler stopped Azazel he had to use his blood, which he shared with him as his son, to seal and stop him. That's something only a certified biological child of Azazel can do. If Nightcrawler was anything less thn his son, it wouldn't have worked. But like I stated before, if Nightcrawler didn't exist, Azazel wouldn't need to be stopped because he can't do anything without him. Azazel is also a mutant. A mutant who can be affected by the Cure and was also already stopped with a power nullifying collar that works on mutants. He spent nearly 3 years on Krakoa, one of which was under Nightcrawler's make more mutants law. He did nothing in that time frame. Destiny's final dumb excuse culminates in her saying Nightcrawler needs to be part of the X-Men so Azazel doesn't kill him and can stop his takeovers. Azazel needs Nightcrawler to do a takeover, whatever team he's in doesn't matter. In fact, if it mattered that much then why did Destiny not try saving all the X-Men in the Fall of Mutants storyline or remaking the X-Men ? Why allow Nightcrawler to be part of Excalibur which, by the way, was the superhero team he's been on the longest ? If that mattered for Nightcrawler's survival then he should be toast in Age of Apocalypse because he was part of Mystique's X-Calibur team and was raised by her FROM BIRTH. Both him and Mystique die in that timeline and Azazel had NOTHING to do with their demise : Azazel exists in that reality and hasn't done a single takeover meaning Nightcrawler doesn't need to exist to stop him, yet he was not only born into that world and has Azazel as his biological father but he was raised by Mystique, who was certified to be his mother. Nightcrawler wasn't part of the X-Men either and that didn't lead to an early death by Azazel's hands. And this isn't tied the retcon's plot contrived explanation that Xavier altered memories as Age of Apocalypse came into existence because Legion accidentally killed him before he himself was even born (Legion is way older than Nightcrawler). That prophecy is a plothole. It was a plothole the moment it had Destiny alive during any of Azazel's takeovers when she dies years before any of them can happen.

And I thought my $35 a week was exceptionally high but here it sounds downright normal. Cool episode

I just read DOOM #1 and it was awesome. Do you guys know if that story will continue?
