When ever I travel by plane, I always carry my bag dust cover with me so when it is time to go through Security and X-ray, I place my full bag into it so it will not get scuffed going through the machine and bin. Keeps my things safely stored inside. Then when it comes out of the X-ray, I take it out and slip it into the bag. No shoes or anything else goes inside except my bag.
I had bought one in saffiano leather but once I got it home, I realized I didn’t like the bag at all, it was waaaayyy too big and wide where it looked like a tub and the saffiano leather was rough, the leather just wasn’t pretty at all and the bag didn’t even look right with a key chain on it, it just made it look even wider, I tried to make it look good when I looked at it but it just didn’t do any good so I got rid of it.
Looks like the pebble large weighs slightly more than the city large, according to the Dooney site. The city leather is a smooth weather treated leather, but in my opinion looks not as rich a leather as the Florentine.
