I am so glad you showed that the first two were 2021's. That explains alot to me with the issues. It seems so many companies, not just bags, but everything, struggled with quality control during the pandemic because of supply issues and worker shortages. I was going to order one of these, but I will just wait for some newer options. Love the midnight blue one!

I found the video!! Ok so in my unboxing fail video, I also ordered the purple and it looks nothing like yours. I'm returning mine because it's not the shade I expected. I left mine fully wrapped because I was immediately disappointed by the color as soon as I opened the box. This haul was epic!!!! TFS ❤

I love the “style” of the Sorrento and all the other leathers it comes in but I personally don’t find it very functional. I don’t like to fight to get into a bag. Even a small bag. I love the blue bag. It seems to be an easy access zip top. Thank you ❤😊 Happy Sunday

Your purple bag has two different textures. The sides and tassels have the same texture as the tan satchel which is very similar to the texture of saffiano leather and the front has a pebble grain texture. I have been collecting since 2015. I noticed about three years ago D&B changed their pebble grain leather. It is now dull and lifeless. I believe it is no longer drum dyed. I believe it is painted and or coated. If you look at a pebbled leather from before 2021 you can clearly see the difference. It has a sheen that looks organic…from within. I started ordering more nylon, monogram, saffiano and Florentine at that time. I have ordered a few more pebble leather bags since then but I have been very disappointed with them. Once I had to slam on the brakes and my bag flew across the floorboard and it took the color off the corner revealing a bleached, ivory looking leather. This was an extra large Courtney. This was NOT drum dyed. Anyway, you either love it or not. Your heart tells you what to do. I leave a new bag out where I can see it. I walk past it many times or glance over at it while watching TV, then I decide if I’m on the fence. I recently bought two of the Sorrento drawstrings for $65. I got the black one and it looks very cheap. The taupe is on the way. They are YT made me do it bags, lol. I don’t think Sorrento is durable and I believe there’s a reason they sell it for less. Love the midnight bag.

I agree. The bags that are returned do not have the careful neat presentation it has when they are brand new. It's just consideration for the person who will appreciate it.

On your Purple satchel are your tassels suede? Oh no suede in the inside. I was gonna say the Milano. I have no clue. Milano has suede on Tassels and inside.
