One of my fave Dooney bags! It's good for shopping, church, anywhere I have the larger size in olive. I used it open as a tote at my mother in law's house. Usually I have mine snapped too but the option is awesome. Good quality. I love how the black and gold and vachetta handles contrast. And that blue! Thank you.
Yes, it's kind of like Dooney's "outlet" site where they send overstock (I think), past season, etc. products. Products from their retail site. There are always great sales going on!
I know exactly what you mean. That gray/elephant satchel I’m geeking over. I loooove gray! (Hence my name lol). I love gray outfits, gray decor, but for some reason gray leather handbags I have a difficult time matching/reaching for. I might do a gray SLG one day to satisfy that want. But yeah… I can only admire gray leather handbags from afar. These satchels are amazing. Love that D&B is doing the darn thing. 😊

I am so happy I found your video!!! I have been eyeing this small satchel on I Love Dooney for about 2 months now. I was too worried about the true color and size, though, and the closet outlet to me is 3 hours away. This video helped me decide on both. As of today, the site still has this bag in 18 different colors for $129. Sadly they are sold out of the jeans color which was my top pick😢. I do like the caramel, all black, and bone colors. I feel the olive green is nice too but not being able to see the true shade of olive makes me nervous 😅. Thanks again for posting such an amazing review. Now, I have to decide which 2 colors to get. The price point right now is absolutely amazing!
Yay, glad if this review helped! This bag is AMAZING! I've been using my jeans Satchel since last August, THAT'S how much I love it. Black/black is GORGEOUS, as is bone and caramel. I used caramel for a month when I first bought it last July. It's the perfect neutral, but, of course, all THREE of the colors you like are. Can't go wrong with any!
Yes, they are so lovely! I’m going to get the bone and olive colors. I have the pebble grain Janine tote in bone and it’s gorgeous but too heavy for me. I haven’t carried it yet and probably won’t carry it often. I know I’ll carry these satchels often. They are the perfect size!
Thank you for this video on this bag. I have wanted one but have always been on the fence with this one. Years ago I owned a Dooney satchel in the almost exact style except there were not outside zips. It was completely smooth and it was a solid red, no tan trim. Also, it was a bit larger. Omg I loved that bag. I really do think the pebbled leather has improved and it seems to be really durable as you stated. ❤👜
Wow, I didn't know that they had done this style before. Very cool! Yes, this leather is INCREDIBLY durable. I've been solely using the jeans Zip Satchel since around August, and it doesn't show any wear AT ALL. The pebbled leather, vachetta trim, hardware, NOTHING shows wear. Well, maybe the feet. And I haven't been babying it, either. It's kind of insane how well these bags and slgs hold up. Let me know if you get one!
@@dooneydaze I have my list. I need blue, red, Bordeaux and camel/tan and probably two more black bags. I’m trying to curate based on my wardrobe which is pretty classic colors with some red & Bordeaux/burgundy. I just ordered the Florentine Hobo 26 in black last night and of course I can’t wait to get it. I love you Toscana bags I wish they would bring back a version of those bags the colors are great.
i was eyeballing this bag, but the weight is what made me not buy it. Dooney had it listed as 2lbs and that's too heavy for me. I'm hoping they listed the wrong weight because I really want to purchase it.
@@dooneydaze That would be great! I know they have the weight of the Nano Florentine satchel incorrect on the website. I wouldn't be surprised if other bags had the wrong weight too.
