Ilene I purchased a green vintage Dooney just like the one you’re profiling. I saw your video and HAD to have it!! Yours is even better than mine but not by much. You’re correct in saying the color is typical from the 80’/90’s bags! I remember going to Macy’s and these bags were under lock and key and I remember being shocked because the smaller bags like this were in the high $80s!! All I could do was drool and walk away. Now my “bag world” has changed thanks to online vintage shopping!! I love all your great videos.

Hi Eileen……love your Essex bag. I bought mine around 1990 at Macys and still love it. I have the smaller one in white All Weather Leather. It came in 3 different sizes and mine is the smallest. It is in pristine condition . The original All Weather Leather is amazing. All my vintage bags I bought new and are kept in great condition even though they are well used. Always great to see you 💕
@@BagHound The Gladstone is a beautiful bag. Roomy and a bit heavy, but that's just Dooneys! It has the lock and key. They're long discontinued, I got mine on Etsy and it's in great condition. It was $179, which is a very good price.
I had this bag in high school, and I'm feeling the feels seeing this bag again! I would love to find one again. I wish I still had mine from HS. 😭 Just subscribed!

hi baghound...i love the bucket style bags with the drawstring.. just recently was able to buy the dooney gretta small drawstring no pocket or zipper on the front just a plain dooney gretta drawstring in the SMALL size..and i love it..there was only one left the ilovedooney website and i bought it..the navy one...also by chance i found a new one in the brown tmoro color on ebay brand new still factory wrapping on the bag...i bought it and it arrived today..i love those small dooney gretta drawstring bags...right now on ilove dooney there are some nfL ones available and i think a couple that have the zipper on the front..i don't like the zipper on the front..the ones i have do not have zippers or pockets on the front or back..they are just plain gretta small drawstring the perfect size for a small wallet..i find i do not need to carry all the things i was carrying...really liking the smaller bags...and the small dooney gretta drawstrings are just the perfect size...i also have the dooney gretts in the larger sizes i rarely use..getting more use out of the smaller sizes.....but just thought i would share that with you...i've searched both ilovedooney and dooney and bourke and even googled to see if there are anymore of the smaller gretta drawstrings...i did not find any...so they must be really popular and people are keepng the ones they have...both mine i bought brand new...and just love that small size...and light weight..forgot to mention they are cross body but there is room to clip on a strap of your own...they are just like the NFL bags on ilovedooney exact style and size only in the gretta navy and brown tmoro...i know you said you like drawstrings...not sure if you own any small gretta drawstring bags but they are nice..i was actually thinking about buying one of the NFL drawstring bags wating for them to have a good sale..like under $100
