Dude it's big news. You mentioned one time that a lot of times people that have a lot of subscribers that many of them are inactive. That may be the case. So yeah you should be flattered. You took full responsibility. It takes courage to do that. You've been making videos where it seems like you we're getting tired of this crap anyway. I'm sure you got ventures I have no idea about. Its just aint right how doordash treats us drivers, so quick to deactivate us even if the customers are at fault or lying about the drivers. One day they will face a big lawsuit.
That's what a contract is for. We aren't employees, we are independent contractors entitled to zero. We get zero protection or benefits of employment. They are never going to get hit with a lawsuit for treating drivers unfair. They would have to majorly violate their own contract, or do something illegal with funds. I'm a fellow DD hater for sure. I'll drive for them if the money is right, but I won't order from them...and I won't go into detail here about how I let my customers know that Ubereats is actually much better than DD. I might get deactivated .🤭😂

I’ve been doing DoorDash for five years and every year It gets a little bit worse with them lowering the base pay every year. I lose a little bit more money and a little bit more money doing DoorDash . I did the numbers a while back I’m making about $1000 less a month than I was a few years ago just on the base pay . He’s right on most things he says . I think we would all be doing very well to have friends like him in real life. I’ll keep following Pedro. from the Driver standpoint , DoorDash is declining year after year .
Doordash or any other platform won't take our side. Customer first. We are replaceable. That's how it works. It's a business. Money is what matter to these gigs.

Hi Pedro! Love from Los Angeles. I appreciate your content. As a GH driver, I feel your frustration. However, if feel that worrying about things beyond my control is not worth one ounce of thought. That includes miserable customers, unpredictable gig companies, etc. I came to realize that peace of mind is more valuable than money in some cases. Fight the good fight, and call it a day.
I think DoorDash deactivated you because in that video, you taught dasher how to strike back at the rude non tippers by reporting them. It was very helpful but DoorDash doesn’t want dasher reporting non tippers because they don’t care about the dasher. They only care about their fees.

The issue isn’t that you believe these people are miserable, I agree. The issue is that by disclosing their full names in combination with what you said about them and who your audience is you placed those people’s lives in danger. You should apologize and do better as an influencer.

Some people might think what im about to type out will not have anything to do with work but I beg to differ. I am an extrovert and have met dozens of people with Pedro's personality and they all suck. If I met Pedro out somewhere randomly within seconds I would think he comes across arrogant and cocky and a douchbag and if I ran into him again at any point I would avoid him. He would last half a day at my job. He is a little child who cries about every time he gets stiffed on a order. Be a man and keep it pushing. I asked Pedro one time to make a video of him and his buddies going out to get a couple beers and watch the game but he couldn't because he has no friends. He just rubs me the wrong way and I know why he has zero friends to hang out with because his personality is weak and that translates into his work life
The best remedy for dealing with asshole customers is to hold it in til you get back to the car and SCREAM all the way down the road until you let it ALL out of your system......then move on to the next "conquest".

You’ve worked DD long enough to know when you accept the order of it has a tip so that leads me to believe you took those orders for your RU-vid bc that gets viewers.
If dashers keep turning down offers the base pay goes up! So if you get a $12 dollar offer it could mean that the customer tipped $10 with the $2 base pay or it could mean that I had been declined so many times that the base pay went to $12 with a 0 tip! Problem with the all base pay offers is that the customer is mad because it took so long for someone to accept their offer, then even though you just received the offer the customer gives you the one star rating. The no tipping customers are the ones that make it bad for other customers and dashers!
My thought process is that some industries are more about customer "service" than others. I work in a job that's about 20% customer service. It's important but I only have to do it very limited and most people are happy to see me because I fix things. (Hvac/plumbing) I couldn't preform a service such as a waiter or bartender or delivery driver. I don't work for tips. I charge money for service. I am not a jerk, but I don't have to have the same level of "service" as a hotel receptionist. I think everyone should strive to work in a field that fits their personality.

I'm glad that I don't have a RU-vid channel. I ran into a warehouse of 30 "ghost kitchens". Is this a secret Time Variance Authority location? Are people time-traveling here? Everything is run by AI? Sorry, the AI is dumber than rocks. I had to explain to an employee how clocks work, they don't count backward then forward, and backward and forward again. Clocks don't work like that. Fix your dumb-ass AI program. If I'm running late to my job, I don't say that the clock just started going in reverse. If I tell the gig company that the order is not present, don't lie to the company and tell them that the order is ready when it's not.
Why would anyone want to deliver for so little money anyway, unless of course you want the content for you tube which is where your real earnings are. For the rest of us, don't slave for these apps. There are plenty of W-2 jobs out there that pay a decent wage AND provide you with benefits.

There doesn't need to be much of a deep thought session pondering why and what happened. You fucked up. And you really fucked up by violating the one law of business in every industry at every level....THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!! For folks that can't control their anger or emotions or think of the big picture, this is what happens. You get fired, deactivated, demoted, whatever. And as IC's, we have 2 clients: the merchant and the customer. NEVER piss off either.
Customer is definitely not always right especially in this industry. If we are truly independent contractors we should be call crappy customers out but we are more like employees.
