DOORS Hotel Update: How To Beat ROOMS & Get Secret Gear

Fun fact: The guiding light powers the crucifix and detects the entities from the candle but guiding light doesn't exist in the rooms, only the yellow light does called curious light

Tysm! I decided to try going in the rooms for once, and because of this tutorial, I'm already at A-130 and I'm so proud of myself, I've been watching way to much doors and rooms content... Edit: I died from a-120, there were no lockers in the room? I reached room A-164 on my first try >:)

I died to a-120 at door 512 because of sound lag

6:00 little tip for a-90, he'll PAUSE a-60 and a-120 in their tracks when he appears, so don't focus on getting in the locker, just focus on staying still.

Why do I feel like if A-90 didn't exist, the rooms would be a piece of cake

Unlike other floors, The Rooms can only be accessed through a secret door that can be found at Door 60 of the Hotel. Said door is locked behind a gate which can only be opened by activating the lever in the Large Basement at Door 61, then going back and using a Skeleton Key and two Lockpicks to open the A-000 door. After this, the player will be prompted to open the door by holding the letter E (if the player is on PC) or the interact button (on mobile). All players need to be near the door in order to continue, and opening the door will trigger a timer. The secret pathway is behind a closet adjacent to either the left or right wall. However, the Large Basement can rarely spawn at Door 63 and the entrance to The Rooms will be at Door 64. When this happens, the gate to The Rooms will already be open. There is also a chance of the Large Basement spawning in Door 64 and the entrance to The Rooms spawning in Door 65. The first room (A-000) contains an area where the player can buy a Shakelight for Gold10. It functions similarly to a Flashlight, except the battery drains much faster, the light produced is green, and slightly dimmer than the Flashlight. It does not use Batteries, and is instead charged by pressing the Left Mouse button repetitively or the Interact Button on mobile, causing a shaking animation in-game. Unlike the regular flashlight, the Shakelight cannot be turned off whilst equipped. Players are forced to explore a seemingly infinite set of isolated office spaces. These rooms darken as they progress, which makes light sources essential in later gameplay. Batteries are scattered around the building, so if players have a Flashlight, they will be able to get them throughout the run. Beyond A-100, the rooms' lighting will become dimmer and dimmer until A-200, where they can hardly see anything outside of the slight light the player emits. This makes light sources almost essential to surviving. After A-200, There will be special rooms every 50-100 rooms which will contain an exit door. When entered the player will be placed in The Infirmary. Living players will keep all the items they had on them, including the Shakelight. To get to the true end of The Rooms, the player must pass all of these exits and make it to A-1000. Starting from A-300, piles of gold become much more common, and they tend to appear as piles of 50 gold (two golden bars), 75 gold (three golden bars among two gold coins) and 100 gold (three golden bars among three gold coins and two jewels). In A-1000, instead of a normal office space, the player will enter the bridge from the lobby surrounded by darkness with a glowing door at the end. On the bridge, they will be able to find a Scanner that functions as a night-vision camera and an item radar. Exiting through the door will bring them back to the Infirmary, with the Scanner coming with them (if picked up). Reaching this point will give them a hidden achievement as well.

Died at 536, but I got A-90 at door 60 something, while A-60 came. Didn't expect to encounter A-90 this early, so I got hit. Almost 500 doors later, i die due to A-90 while dealing with A-60, I clicked the closet button just a few milliseconds before he would have disappeared. Hate A-90, crazy thing is that, it was my first run in the rooms. Like if you hate A-90 the most.

Fun Facts: A-60 & A-120 have a cooldown. That means that there is 5 seconds for you to hide before they actually start heading your way If you get A-90 & A-60 or 120, A-60 or 120 will stop moving until A-90 goes away. So don't worry about rushing to a closet. I learned these facts from beating a-1000 myself

Actually, A-120 will spawn only if there if a locker in the room behind you. A-60 will spawn in rooms where there are lockers. A-90 also freezes 120 but slows 60.

Thanks for the tips!! I wish there more tips for A-90 though (in general-) because he's the ONLY THING that's stopping me from reaching A-1000....because I have very...very bad fast reactions-

Tip: the special room with the broken wall will always appear UNLESS you didn’t purchase a skeleton key when citing Jeff’s shop. Even if you get the coins and go back a room to buy it, it won’t show up anymore. The reason is specifically appears on room 60 is because of the reference to A-60 being the first entity you will see in your run.

Thank you I will try to beat it now, but 2 hours I can go to make Mac and cheese and plan a feast for 100 people in that time🗿💀 and maybe go to the backrooms and back

Another tip for A-120, if the room you're currently in has lockers, wait a few seconds before entering the next room. A-120 will only spawn in rooms without lockers, and will prevent you from opening the next door until it is gone.

Tips that I’ve found for rooms: If you even THINK you hear a sound behind you hide immediately. Because sometimes it will just troll you and it won’t come. Tip 2: Don’t count on room numbers for monsters to spawn. They CAN spawn early. I know from experience. Tip 3: The green lights are MANDATORY if you wanna beat the Rooms area. Because you WILL run out of power in your traditional lights. And everything after room 200 is complete and utter darkness.

Well here's my theory about the entities and the rooms: Well from the start you see a metal door and a 2 sofas right? Maybe from the metal door was actually a workshop where the scanner was made, then the shake light on the metal thingy. maybe bob actually made that scanner and he was the staff there, as there was his name tag somewhere in the rooms which shows he was working there, then he wanted to leave the rooms because the entities start appearing and it caused the rooms to be uninhabitable and dangerous. Many days passed and he finally reached the end of the rooms which is a-1000 but he was soon dying because of starvation, then he accidentally dropped the scanner but he ignored that because he wanted to leave the rooms, then after he came to the hotel he died because of starvation and that's where El goblino found him.

There are only 5 entities in the Rooms: 1. Glitch 2. Curious Light 3. A-60 4. A-90 5. A-120

QUICK TIP for some new people or anyone to the Rooms. A-60 can sometimes attack BEFORE door A-60. Ive encountered him at door 17 before and door 59. If you hear his noise it could be a fakeout but treat it with a little bit of care because you dont want to lose your run because he came too early. A-90 And A-120 always for me have showed up after their respective door. Be careful out there!

I watched this video when i took a pause in the rooms, and the a-90 trick REALLY helped,that same run i beat the rooms,this tutorial really was useful!

I think the best tip anyone could possibly give you is short and concise: ALWAYS, prioritize A-90. Like it says in the video, A-90 loves to show up when there's already another entity on it's way. If A-90 appears while A-120 is coming, A-120 will completely stop moving until A-90 is no longer on your screen. Something similar happens with A-60, if A-90 shows up while A-60 is rushing towards you, A-60's speed WILL decrease slightly. So basically, always make sure to keep an eye out for A-90, he is the most important one out of the three.

im losing my mind playing rooms over and over again. i wish a-90 didn't exist

They should add a crucifix for the rooms (and a candle to.) the crucifix in rooms will be a yellowish color and will kill the entities (except for a-90.) And the candle will fade away when an entity is coming. It will be like the normal candle, but when it fades away, the curious light will make a noise and then you can hide.

To anyone who is new, it could happen to get A-60 and A-90 beforehand, like someone close to me and I, we had A-90 at room A-15. And A-60 appeared at room A-47. We've never encountered A-120 beforehand though. Also A-90 stops the attacks and any sounds at all so you know he is coming

Fun fact:crucifix doesn' work in rooms to make it work you must find a kitchen with a working sink and pull the crucifix and press e on sink then you can use it

Fun fact: When A-90 Appears you could hear a faint heart beat, that beats 2 times right after he appears. So i think if you hear a heartbeat thats the cue that tells you to STOP in your tracks

Im new at rooms and dont fully understand it. Around how many encounters will i get in order to reach room 1,000. Or are there just so many its hard to count.

A-90 didn’t apear intell a-120 for some reason

A-90 is the most annyoning entity you can even think about, it's like you need to have a reaction time as fast as a cat...

AFTER THIS VID FINISHED I WAS ON DOOR 68 JUST LEAVING IT THEN A-90 CAME FOR A VISIT AND I PANICKED AND DIED HELPPP

Oh one more tip: when a-90 comes while a-120 or a-60 spawns a-90 COMPLETELY stops the entity until it’s gone so don’t rush whenever a-90 spawned with a different entity ❤

i thought it only went to A-100 + not knowing about all these tips/rules so i was going at a really slow pace: after every door i opened i would get in a locker and stay for at least 30 seconds lol but after i watched this video and saw that it took you 2 hour to get to A-1000 ..... oh no i'm giving up on this badge, and maybe playing with friends next time because i was too scared. Died (A-82) lol

I spent over an hour literally just walking through doors and then I die to a-120 because it immediately U turns the second I leave a locker

tysm for the guide my first time in rooms I played solo my room I died on was at 126 I died to a squigly face and since I had no knowledge of what that was I died but thanks to your guide I'm sure that I can get to room 1000 on my own.

So basically what I would also suggest is 1-Keep a cool head but also focused just in case of A-90 2-be very patient because this will take atleast 2 hours.

At 4:58 you said that A-60 and A-120 always spawn while you in a room with lockers right? Well I died to A-120 when there was NO LOCKERS AT ALL NEAR ME… So be warned people…

tbh there should be a A-500 that works the same as ambush but faster also fun fact glitch can spawn in the rooms

Ive been trying to beat rooms for 3 and a half week now,the best i could get to was door 841...i am tired

i might use this tutorial, last time i avoided the Rooms because i wanted to focus on Door 100 (the biggest pain though is that i died in Door 100 while with all 10 Breaker Switches, lmao 💀)

Wow i found this litreally today my friend told me.. i thought A-60 these rare entities dont exist and they are fanmade monsters but i realised the rooms entitys were real ever since 1 year.. Crazy

the rooms are just boring and long,nothing happens and if you die,you start over,and if you want to port stuff,sure that's fine,but at least make it intresting

For people who are wondering you can enter rooms through a passageway behind a wardrobe in door 60, go to door 61 find the lever and go back to gain access to the rooms (have 2 lock picks and skeleton keys)

Tysm I made it to A-1000 it took me 4h because I died 2 times to A-90 BUT TYSMMMMNMN THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO EVER OFF ROOMS

iPad is 200x easier if you see a90 just remove your 1-10 fingers and boom all gone you can move your iPad tho but don’t touch the screen it’s easier and if you keep you fingers close it’s easier I’m iPad and I managed to get to a-782 it’s because a-60 and a-120 and a-90 appears at the same time

I beat the rooms yesterday. Took me three hours due to just being a bit slow. ❤ I finally have my dream achievement. Now I need the rest 😅 Edit: the reason it was easier for me was because the two rush like entities that spawn don't spawn unless there are enough lockers for everyone they don't spawn. I had a friend and he left but it still counted as him being there. So I had less encounters. But A-90 at like door A200 got me and I was fearing for the rest of the time.

I’ve been going through, and none of lights turned off until room 670-ish, and the monsters never appeared until room 800-ish It may have been my terrible internet connection messing with the spawns, but I’m not sure

thank you for doing this vid i helped a friend then he died by a-120 because he didn't see and he couldn't find lockers i said go back and go to a locker he didn't see and died, AND HOW DID I GET DOUBLE A-60

I watched this yesterday and decided to try it with some friends they ended up dying to A-90 around A-134, i survived the attack and they watched me beat A-1000, im surprised that i beat it with 10 HP, my friends were not really "helping" it was also my first real attempt at trying to beat it too, when we got back to the hotel they died again in the green house and i managed to beat the hotel while they watched.

Some people can follow a strategy i did the first time i attempted to get to A-1000, that is, wait 10-20 seconds in a locker in every room, ofc this'll take you some time, but better safe than sorry

I wanted to go to room A-200, but at room A-197 I tried to hide at the EXACT moment A-90 attacked...

well my i Found a New strat soo... If you are Dead or one of your friends they need to turn their voulume up And then if a 60 or a 120 is coming u can warn them but u need to be on discord or WhatsApp for thiss to work This is just for the Exit badge not a 1000

I feel like curious light is just a younger guiding light cuz curios light doesn't know much and want you to come back but guiding like is an all knowing god which power items like crusifix candle

Also if you have A90 comes when either A60 or A120 comes would you stay for a second and not lose health and then get to a locker or you could die to A60 or A120 should I just wait for A90 to go away or just rush to a locker as fast as possible
