Screech can actually spawn even if you are using a light source, it says it in one of the death messages “it will almost never attack you if you are holding a light source” Edit: i forgot about this comment but can people PLEASE stop saying “ *almost* “ I get it, thats literally what I’m saying
Rush can be useful sometimes if you ever encounter a fake door and forget the number you past. I tend to save the crucifx for ambush rather than rush because Ambush is an actual pain to deal with.
If you ever encounter a room with fake doors, Just try to hug/get close to the walls near the door If the door is fake then it won't open But if the door is real it will open (Also you can hear strange roars if you get near the fake doors)
@@Omiiswatching Yes I am well aware of that but my point is, the crucifix is better saved for ambush because rush isn't hard to deal with and he can be useful in situations where you get stuck with fake doors. Ambush will constantly go back and forth between rooms and he's much faster than rush, he's a major threat and the crucifix is recommended for him over rush. And for an extra tip, guiding light will sometimes light up certain doors that are fake which can be helpful as well. Plus if that door has a padlock you can just read the number on the key to check which of the padlocked doors is the real one.
@XYZYX Yes but every entity in this game is easy to deal with if you know what you're doing. These bosses maybe challenging but they have weaknesses which make them easy. Rush is by far the easiest to deal with because its slower so it gives you time to hide. Ambush is easy because you only need to time it but it can cause problems if he's on floors higher floors because the wardrobes will decrease their timer for how long you can stay in them. There's really no point in wasting a crucifix on rush because he's the easiest entity to deal with. Ambush is easy but its safer to use it on him because he's much faster than rush and will go back and forth between rooms to put you off, plus you can't be in the wardrobe for too long as it'll damage you and kick you out. Figure is easy to deal with because his pathing is predictable and you can really just hide behind objects because his pathing doesn't allow him to stray from the path. Seek, hardly a challenge, just run and look for the glowing doors Eyes, just don't look, simple. Screech is very easy, just look for him when he whispers and have a light source out because he doesn't like it. Halt, just keep walking in the opposite direction. Its all about practicing to counter these entities, they aren't hard but they can provide a challenge if you let your guard down.

Even if Timothy dosent have any weakness, you can avoid it, we all know that we search drawers usually to find keys. So when trying to find keys, when you are near a drawer that has the key will have a twinkling sound. But when finding gold, it's impossible to avoid Timothy appearing.
Ambush can spawn as early as door 2, but is more common in the end of the game cuz his chance of spawning increases the further you get into the game and thats why you almost never see it early

Seeks weakness is not vitamins, it's a door. He can't open a door if you complete the chase,because you opened the doors and seek is quick enough to enter the doors before they close, but the door closes at the end and seek doesn't know how to open it. Edit: Seek also becomes faster the more people it kills. So if you play with 7 players and 6 of them die, seek is faster than figure. It means you need to take all 3 vitamins at the same time.
The rooms where the seek chase starts has been changed with the new hotel+ update. The new range of doors where seek spawns is doors 32-39 and doors 70-80

Screech can spawn with a lighter, it is simply more uncommon. Also, Rush is not the most common entity in doors. Although he has the most screen time, Figure has an 100% spawn rate while Seek (surprisingly) is not 100% to spawn but spawns basically 99.999999999999% of the time. If he doesn’t, it’s either a glitch or the rarest thing that can happen in doors.
I was aiming to get the badges for rooms in the update, and it was like door 45 and no seek chase. It was door 50, and no seek chase happened. No cap, all truth he didn’t spawn.
I'm pretty certain he will have a veryyyyyy low chance of spawning however, he can still whisper in your ear in light rooms and will spawn if certain modifiers are active
ambush can spawn as early as door 4: ambush has a chance to spawn from 1-2% every door you open and the chances start from door 4 so if you’re really unlucky then ambush can spawn on door 4 Bonus fact:ambush can spawn alot spawning 1-4 times in the same game(not the rebound) (for me I got ambush on door 7,18,24, and 96 in the same game)
Vitamins saved me from Rush when my little sister was occupying a closet and the nearest other was very far away and then they saved me AGAIN during the second Seek chase so honestly, vitamins are overpowered.

I believe the chances of ambush spawning instead of rush goes up by 0.5% every door so technically by door 100, you would have a 50% chance of getting ambush instead of rush although this may have changed in the hotel update as I never have gotten ambush while going through that annoying greenhouse section during doors 90-100

You CAN use crucifix on void. I recently went afk in a group after door 50 I got the crucifix then sometime on door 64 I went afk. I was holding the crucifix, I came back and my crucifix was gone and I was with my group Also dupe can make lower numbers, has the ability to make door 50 glitch, weakness is not crucifix it's actually headphone players, you can't get duped if you have good memory or hear the breathing.
A few things to notice, yes rush and ambush can spawn in rooms containing seeks eyes as of the hotel+ update, and light sources do not disable screeches spawn anymore, but has a chance to lower its spawn rate, also timothy and glitch cannot kill the player

In a dark room, It's better to use a lighter. Lighter's light is all around you, while a flashlight just puts it's light like a line As everyone knows, Screech is scared of light. That's why i suggest using a lighter. Anyways a lighter lasts shorter than a flashlight, So for that reason i think it's quite a tie.
It actually doesn't matter as both act the same in terms of reducing the chances, lighter is just letting you share light with others And flashlight actually lasts almost the same as lighter but can be managed better and batteries are a lot more common now
@@ventex1352 no it’s not the best thing to do because it just waste your light source only uses the battery or the gas in the flash or the lighter only use your light source on the big dark rooms don’t use your light source on short rooms use them on big rooms that require a key or a long hallway
dude the most rarest things that had ever happened to me were : 1. halt spawned at only 18th door 2. ambush spawned on 18th door 3. i encountered timothy at the first door , like the door when you get out of the elevator edit : new things that happened to me which are rare halt on 17th door white shadow appearing jack appearing in a door
Note: The new Hotel+ Update now put screech chance of spawning to 1/45 (dont know the exact chance number), when i played doors and at door 61 when im finding lever while holding a flashlight, when im searching, i hear the "psst" and i saw screech so i looked at him and then my mind goes like "wait hold on, screech can spawn while holding a lighter or flashlight?" So yeah, it is advised to still look around even if you have a light source, if you have a 🕯️ (candle), pay attention to it the most because its a guiding light candle, if the fire turned off then switched to blue, it mean screech is here
The crucifix kills almost any entity. It is meant to be a 1 time get out of jail free card against any entity the player is having trouble with. It will stun figure and seek, it will not effect snare, timothy or jack, and will kill any other entity.
Btw crucifix can be used on rush,ambush, screech and eyes, WHICH MEANS IN THE UPDATE YOU CAN USE THE CRUCIFIX AT EYES AND YOU CAN LOOK AT HIM AND YOU WONT TAKE DAMAGE! tim does have a weakness 3 tbh tim is rare,only found in drawers (i barely see people loot drawers anymore unless locked door), and does 5-10 damage jack does too if there are alot of closets then when jack appears in one turn to anthor closet thats close

It is also possible to avoid Halt without moving. Altho, you need to get damaged by Halt first to do this, or proceed quick enough so that halt teleports quicker
The Figure's weakness isn't his blindness. When you solve the puzzles at door 100, there will be a cutscene showing The Figure's real weakness, which is fire.
In your video the door was door 3 when ambush spawned and timothy does have a weakness don't open drawers too much and rush can spawn as early as door 6 and sorry for my last comment.There is a way to kill all entities ,and there are hardcore,extreme,nightmare,chaos entities if you didn't know, halt can spawn as early as door 5 eyes can spawn that early too,there can never be 0 or 100% of screech spawning in dark rooms one time i played doors and got no screech in a dark room.Halt isn't a guaranteed entity and i don't know if you know there are scripts to spawn other entities like a-60 a-200 and others.Your video has ALOTOF mistakes you can hide next to a barricaded door and as you beat doors the chances of ambush replacing rush get higher and higher.Glitch takes 15 to 40 damage.All the entities had a earlier form.There are more mistakes though and can we talk about this. 0:22 Bro, let me tell you something, while I was playing doors, I encounted screech, before that I used a candle so he blew it off and some blue light came and then I heard 'psstt' and then I looked at him. So therefore, his weakness is ONLY flashlight, cause he can't 'blow' that out 👍👾
Screech can't blow out anything. Lighters blow out when their fuel runs out and the candle blows out either when guiding light does his blue light on it to signal an entity coming or the candle running out of fuel.
tip:when the lights flicker and there's no attack of rush means it's just seek (if you see eyes on the wall and the so called "paintings") but if it doesnt have eyes on the wall, then that means, it could be el goblino trolling ya (idk if it's true or not for the last one)

Corrections: 0:03 I can't say that it spawns in only dark rooms, I mean when you just got out of a dark room and is currently in a light room Screech can occur 0:17 I can't say unavailable, it will only reduce the chances of spawning, infact I once got Screech when I was holding a lighter, and there are many clips of it too. 1:35 there is actually very few chances of the 1st seek chase not occuring. Happened to me twice (one without using modifiers and one with using them). Only for the 2nd part it's guaranteed. The chances of this is very rare but possible, increases the chance when using modifiers (except for you really can run) 1:48 for now it will occur during door 29 for most of the time for the 1st seek phase and 2nd it will occur 70-80. 1:59 now the 2nd chase also has 6 doors 2:26 btw they removed the healing effect from vitamins now, since there's bandaids and herb of virdis 3:22 update, it will usually rebound 3-4 times now. In minimum 2, max 6, it cannot be 1 unless with Again, Again, Again modifier. 3:39 after the hotel+ update, now the minimum and earliest they can spawn is door 2 which is crazy but extremely rare 5:46 it's actually 43 eyeballs 6:00 after the hotel+ update it's almost difficult for that especially with the greenhouse since eyes will spawn more often there. 6:18 this is now been replaced by void, but except it deals a random amount of damage, and yes void can insta kill u. or it will not do any damage. 6:29 in multiplayer too
Now of course, before the Hotel+ update seek was guaranteed to spawn twice in a game, however, after the update, he now has a rare chance to not spawn before door 50. If this does happen, it’s guaranteed that seek will spawn after door 50 so yeah. Also this has happened to me thrice now so Screech, does have a chance of spawning with a light source. one time my friend used the crucifix on seek and it temporarily stopped him. didnt take him away, but it did give my friend a few moments of a head start
Storytime A year ago i was at my friends house playing doors on his xbox, we found ambush at door 6 and he rebounded 4 times, the time he left. The controller died and we were just sitting in anticipation, but then he got the 'Rebound' achievement and it was a relief. Storytime over.
Figure checks if the player walks faster than the walking speed, so using vitamins while crouched at door 50 will be the same if you use vitamins while uncrouched
