Your videos are great and well explained for beginners. On this particular video Doors and Openings in 3D view at 17.10 the Doors are shown Closed. But on Plan it shows the doors are open. How come it shown closed in 3D view?

Hi, I've been following your tutorials, and I must say they are really good; however, i have hit a bump in the road and i dont know how to proceed. My issue is whenever i try to insert a door from the tool palette, i get this message "please check the tool settings for the following possible causes: - location drawing not available. - style or definition does not exist in current drawing.", what should i do? Thank you.

i understand all that you do which is very cool.the only thing i dont get is how you show the dimension when placing the door into the wall? is there a setting?
Well yes. It shows up automatically when I change the settings in the Properties Pallete under Location. Also make sure that Dynamic Inputs is turned on.
TD HOW ARE YOU. I WAS WONDERING ONCE YOU PUT IN THE DOOR ON THE RIDE SIDE ,HOW DO YOU SAY CHANGE IT TO 6 INCHES FROM THE LEFT SIDE.IT SEEEMS YOU ONLY GETY THOSE OPTIONS WHEN PUTTING IN. I KNOW YOU CHANGE CHANGE THE SWING AND THE IN/OUT .BUT IF GO TO PROIPERTIES LOCATION IS NOT REALLY THERE? FIND YOUR VIDEOS GREAT. ALSO I USE CAPS ALOT SO IM NOT YELLING.
If I'm understanding your question correctly, I don't think there's a way to do that other than measuring the distance on the right and manually moving the door over the distance you need to, in order to get that 6" on the right side.
