What a fucking discussion…. I LOVE THIS. This was just amazing. I have great respect for both your individual shows, I love the content you guys produce, the genuine respect you have for each other, I like the raw no filter questions and answers. Why watch main stream news when I can learn more from you guys….. Pen please get Maria McCloy onto your podcast.
Thanks Penuel, just started watching Dan Corder's YT channel recently and he's brilliant. I understand why racists want to get rid of him. He speaks the uncomfortable truth they don't wanna hear.
I also think this Episode is better than the first one, even though I haven't seen it.😅💯 Dan is inquisitive and can also spark a brain to be.🤯 #2024ward Baba Pen💪🏾
Great interview/conversation. Would love to see an interview with his dad detailing the fundamental differences between the constitution vs the bill of rights. ❤
This was an awesome sit down. Great conversation. I first saw Dan on Tik Tok then I watched Luister. I have been hooked ever since. I don't miss his Thursday podcast on RU-vid and ofcourse i watch tik tok post. Breath of fresh just when i was giving up on entitled white south africans.
Pass this on to your camera department. Redundancy capture entails that the Camera films on two memory cards at the same time (Canon + Sony) It's called Redundancy Shooting, as you said with the iPhone, the secondary card captures a lower Quality version of the same shoot.
I disagree with dan when he said that as long as a person is above 18 they should vote... Because i hear people my age 18 and 19... Say that they want to vote for a certain party because of the "vibe" whilst they know nothing about how the basic fundamentals of politics work because they dont put in the effort to be educated on the importance of their vote... So i say for the same reason why not everyone who is above 18 should drink because they can but drink because they are aware of the repercussions that come with drinking same analogy applies to 18 year olds voting they should be educated enough on the importance of their vote
On the challenge of backing up audio: Tim Ferris uses 2 hardware recording devices. The second is not of the same quality as the primary but it serves the purpose of being a failover if the primary device fails
Invest in a Dropbox or Google Drive account that you pay for. Save the raw footage to that drive folder as you shoot. Alternatively set up drives in RAID
I suggest you start keeping footage and your info in the cloud guys, there is a lot of cheap cloud hosting companies where your stuff will be safe. You can even take and edit from there I promise you'll never loose much
Although clearly erudite, articulate and not short of an opinion, Dan Corder still has that sprightly liberal view of the world most young people possess. This unfortunately leads him to denigrate white success and erroneously laud black brilliance. It's done in a sort of, "although I'm white, I'm on your side" kinda way. To praise Akon and then criticise Elon in the same sentence is laughable. Elon Musk is a self-made billionaire. All of the money he has made has been in the private sector through hard work combined with immense talent. I think he has the right to spend/invest that money however he wishes. The same cannot be said for some of the world's dictators who acquired their vast wealth from looting the state coffers vis-à-vis the citizenry of that country. Through their greed and narcissism they have denied millions across the globe access to a basic provision of services that most people take for granted. These are the people you should be calling out. As for Akon, he may be a talented musician (debatable), but please check your facts. He's not building a city. That was a pipe dream. Some say a shill to help promote his crypto currency, Akoin. Five years on, nothing has been built on the site of Akon City. Cattle and tumbleweed are all he has to show for this "smart city" so far. ‘If you’re not a liberal when you’re 25, you have no heart. If you’re not a conservative by the time you’re 35, you have no brain.’
Thanks Pen. Big fan of your show! Looking forward to the Orania video. Kudos to you for venturing into such a conservative, some might say radical enclave of SA!@@godpenuel
There is a great line from a Bob Dylan song called "My Back Pages" which captures the essence of what you're saying: "Ah, but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now."
LOVE Dan, just wished he would stop recommending SSRIs, which pharma said they made up the the whole " low serotonin equals depression" in 2021 already. Please recommend healthier solutions like correct diet and psilocybin changed my life.
I think the two are chalk and cheese cut totally from different cloth. If you can differentiate between a sales person and a facilitator/presenter. Both gents have high IQs but not the same level SQ. Hence chalk and cheese.
Dan you missed the opportunity to tell who you are going to vote for (probably the DA lol). Thanks for trying Penuel, at least we know your allegiance lies with the PA. It's refreshing to hear young SAns speak with such honesty and integrity, even when it does doesn't suit "their team". Penuel, if you ever need a guest on your show, I'd be keen to tell you why I should be future president of the country. Until then, shout out for all the great work you both do in keeping our young populace informed.
He talks about how the constitution forcing one to treat the people right and BEE is right on that alley that's preventing Musk with Starlink he must just comply, there's so many talented skilled black people in this industry for him to not comply
Penuel my guy, you just exposed your self right there, how bad is your crew or studio? i can do way better than these excuses if i was your production manager.
I find Dan’s reason for not wanting to debate Ernst rather weak. Obviously Ernst does not agree with ALL Dan’s points, otherwise he would not have made a video to refute Dan’s arguments. If Dan’s telling the truth as he suggests, why would he not debate Ernst. I find it odd that Ernst, who is according to him, spreading a false narrative, is more than willing to debate, yet Dan hides behind his computer screen. Would it not be a golden opportunity to set the record straight? Unless Dan knows that his analysis was not entirely truthful and that it will be exposed in debate.
I used to debate chriastians, it's so draining, hence I don't do it anymore. I sense he may have similar experience. By the way you are a propagandist - I saw you from lightyears away.
This guy is talking kak, give me R200 M and I’ll show you what to do it…what makes us human is our differences…you can’t expect everyone to be humble💀money actually makes me happy 😭as shallow as it sounds🖕
Dan loses the plot quite quickly when Elon Musk is the topic. Penuel pushed back with the very applicable example of Starlink, it's not just "a few politicians", it's regulation. People who like to play this moral high ground game with very rich individuals sometimes forget to square it with governments role. If a rich person has the responsibility to pay a lot of tax, then the government has the responsibility to spend that money correctly. If it that assurance is not there, I can't blame people for trying to catch tax breaks and additionally I can't blame someone else for not doing the job our government should be doing out of their own pocket - what, you want give the politicians another reason to just sit and do nothing?
