I was born and have lived here all my life. I've lost family and friends to drugs here. I remember when oxycontin came here as well. These problems are still here and getting worse it seems.

I grew up in Valley Ridge and later moved Clifton Forge for about a year. I now live inTexas. Some beautiful country.

I live in the Clifton Forge area and have since I was 3. This is my home even though I was born in Florida, my Parents are from here though so we moved back and have been here since. I love that this has brought attention to our small area. we need that and it has a lot of rich history. that one shot of the caves in low moor..My father grew up playing in those caves. There's two areas of those, one is natural and the other was a quarry from way back when the town was first established. Mr. Mk's "office" was my kids doctor's office. The cork board seen in the first few episodes when he's walking down the hallway was where their dr. would put all his patients baby pictures. My old house I just sold can be seen from above in the first episode which was really neat and made my mother happy as she owned it for 30 years before giving it to me then I was there 5 years and recently got a new house in Low Moor which is right outside of clifton where the hospital is at. I want to say too that this show is very informative. I had no idea that all this happened when this medicine came out and it angers me. I think the doctors still over prescribe. This area is strict about what they prescribe and how much. I can say that, they are careful. i have fibromyalgia, neuropathy, issues with my back and more and it took years for my insurance to even approve the main med they use for Fibro pain. it's a very bad situation in the whole world really. How do you help people with their pain but yet at the same time keep them safe from addiction and overdose? It truly is an epidemic that needs to be seen by all and heard and this helps get it out there so I applaud Beth Macy.

I grew up in CF haven't been there in several decades I thought the town looked like my hometown when I watched the series I guess I was correct the opiates problem has ravaged my current state of Kentucky as well very sad
