Nah dude he cleaned the media with tank water and cleaned the and filter parts with tap

Thats right. Media was rinsed. Got most of the gunk out.

Hi how big is your tank and how frequent did you clean the cannister?

4 feet x 1.5 x 2 . To be honest. About 6 months. Alternating. I have mechanical filter on top of the tank. Sponges/sock every week. In both canister,only media.

the propeller blade inside on the top can't be open to get it clean?

Can. Lazy. When i blast the water in. Seems to clean most of the gunk.

Hi how long you’ve been using this canister ? Any loud noise coming from the canister ?

Both 1200 and 800 uv. 3 years. No no weird sound. Just that need to reseat the head a few times if its leaking.

redundancy. 1 fails . the other runs . and more capacity.
